I was watching the Hornets game....now only down by 3, make that 1. Chris Paul is sexy(basketball wise). Couple aspects i would love to see DJ develop is better court vision and understanding(IQ) of the game, especially playing the p&r.....and the ability to pass with ONE HAND...CP does it a lot....and the ability to pass in mid shot - mid air. Listen to me i sound like that old hag Larry Brown.

Heat came back in the third, now up.

Who should be Augustin's roll man? All I can think of is Tyrus... Who isn't on the floor ever.

Jax or Crash. Boris would be great but he doesn't look to finish (score) enough.

Crash makes sense actually. Especially since he needs more looks that aren't jumpshots. He can make his jumpshots at an OK rate, but he's a much better scorer inside. Jax however is better at creating his own shot and spotting up on the perimeter than he is at being a roll man kind of guy. But yeah, Crash would easily overpower any PG in the league, **** he overpowers most SF's.

I don't think Tyrus has an understanding of the p&r to use it effectively like Amare, Boozer, Dwight, who are deadly. With the proper coaching he could definitely add that to his arsenal.

I would've said Doris, but you're right he's too soft, lacks aggression. Jax or Wallace are the roll guys for DJ, but they're certainly not ideal.

WOW Bron just did a 360 layup which missed initially, but he got the tip in off a high screen.

Well, DJ isn't exactly known as a pnr PG these days. I figured it would be something they tried to develop. But they don't have much floor time together so Crash seems the next best option. Nazr is too slow.

Yeah, I'd like to see Tyrus and DJ develop a tandem pnr relationship. It'll probably boost their IQ's, both of them, to develop that.

Also the bobcats board is highly inactive, but also one of the better boards on realgm. I wish we had moar ppl like us.

I went after Hibbert hard in the off season but his owner wanted nothing of it. Two weeks ago his owner came calling wanting a Wes Matthews for Hibbert trade.

Glad I was smart enough to decline the offer.

Would anyone be so kind as to post all of the Bobcats players ratings. Not just their actual overall rating but all of the ratings that make up their overall rating? I think I might have them over rated lol.

Oh my God...Phil Jackson calling out Kobe Bryant in public! A hall of fame coach would never dare do such a thing!! I could only imagine what would happen if Phil was the coach here and called out DJ or S-Jax. Our soft fans would cry more than DJ.

"We get behind early on in the third quarter on some stupid plays -- poor passing, poor transition defense -- and then Kobe has to screw up the game and start energizing the team by going one-on-one and that takes the rest of the guys out as a consequence," Jackson said. "That didn't bring us back in, but it did give us a little run, we got the game back a little bit but we couldn't sustain it and we just went right back and made the same mistakes again."

"The game got to a point where we didn't use our strengths which is our inside players," Jackson said. "When we started off the game I think Pau got six out of our eight points and didn't score again in the first half. He ended up the game with 10. He got four more points in the second half. He's too good a player for a game like that."

At least the players stepped up and took ownership of their bad play, unlike what we got here...

"Coaches are giving us a game plan and we're not executing it very well," Gasol said Sunday.

"We're not really playing for each other right now," Bynum said. "We're not playing to set the next man up and consequently that's definitely causing us problems on defense."

"When we're playing that bad we deserve to be booed," Matt Barnes said.

That's the difference between a true Hall Of Fame coach like Phil Jackson and a hall of fame hack like Old Man Brown.

Coach Jackson took the time to know his players well enough that he knows what to say and when he should say it. He targeted Kobe. Kobe is "that" guy. Coach Jackson doesn't just throw a blanket over everyone. He is brilliant. No wonder he has had such a highly respected and successful career. He KNOWS what it takes to be the best.

Old Man Brown though.....................well, he just keeps on working his way though the league. Over a THIRD of the leagues teams "coached" now.

I feel bad for a hack like Brown. It's like Raymond being compared to guys like Paul and Williams. Brown will just never, ever stack up against real coaches like Jackson, Pop, Sloan etc.
