I totally agree Billups would be a better fit with Dirk.

How can Jason Terry lower a 33% shooting average? Shoot 3 for 13. He is at 31% over the last 4 games.

These refs are very crappy in the 4th. Everything is a foul when we are defending, but everything is legal contact when we are on offense.

DIRK creates his offense so without DIRK he doesn't get the open looks.

I actually want to comment Kidd/Barea for playing their hearts out tonight. Kidd almost had a damn quadruple double and Barea did all he could to keep Dallas in the game offensively.

As little as I care about a game we play without Dirk, Butler, and Marion....

Chandler was borderline awful tonight...

Barea scored well but gave up as many or more defensively....and missed a ton of wide-open shooters on the offensive side. Some will think this is "hating" or biased, but Barea was still a net-negative tonight from what I saw.

JET was awful, as was pretty much everybody else I saw in a Mavs uni.

What happened with Terry? I really want to know how Carlisle can justify playing him over guys like Stevenson,Barea, and Jones. Even Novak looked better in his spare minutes, Cardinal outperformed him again. Guys just draining shots in his face, you may can see them laughing over his defense during timeouts. If we want to win any games with all these injuries he needs to get his groove back.

I'm in colorado haven't seen a min of the last 3 games just following them on my phone, but Chandler isn't having NEAR the impact he was having earlier in the season. Teams have taken the Lop away from him, he's not rebounding as much.

Hopefully this is just a rut in the season and not a trend.

No one can beat the Spurs in the league right now, We're gonna look up when Dirk, Marion, & Butler gets back and be 6 games out. I can already see a Game 7 in San Antonio.

From finishing reading the thread I saw Jason Terryable was in full effect tonight. We're gonna have to make it were we don't rely on him to Win ball games anymore. Just if he's hot we roll with him. Kinda like the Nick Van Exel roll with Dirk, Nash, & Fin back in the day.

Wow, after his last two chucks, he is not 20 for 67 over his last 4 games. That is a whopping 29.9%

And in those games, he earned 130 minutes towards his 1500 he needs to guarantee his contract. With his 31 from tonight, he is at 1021.

Please trade the dude already.

Stevenson, I can agree with....though he's been missing a LOT of open looks recently. Barea and Jones haven't done anything in this league compared to Jason Terry, so I'd give JET the benefit of the doubt when it comes to playing time. And may I point out that Terry had to move over to defend Boykins when Barea was being abused left and right tonight (in one-on-one situations, not pick-and-rolls).

Knee injury. Not sure how bad until an MRI is done, but he did walk off on his own. Something gace in his leg before he jumped.

That is what we have to "deal with" only because the Mavs brain trust won't trade him.

And the only way that happens is if Roddy makes it happen. Which I don't see happening at all really.

Ugly start to the year and I hope the Dallas Mashunits have enough players to give Cle a run on Sunday.

Kidd - Stevenson - Butler - Cardinal - Chandler.

That was meant to be a joke, but after seeing Butler go down, I fear even more.

Kidd - Stevenson - Novak - Cardinal - Chandler

Jones is flying into Cleveland...possibly dressing, but even with that, we would be playing small (if I know Rick).

Kidd - Terry or Barea - Stevenson - Cardinal - Chandler

And how many of those 24 points in the paint were from the smallest dude on the team, Barea?
