It was announced today. He will coach against the Falcons but it will be his last game. Everyone knew this was coming but it's official now.
I can almost guarantee we lose to the Falcons now. Why play hard when a new coaching staff will be introduced next year?

It was a given anyway, and the Panthers were going to lose big to the Falcons anyway. That said, I agree with you on the public announcement being awkward.

Now, if only the Richardsons will go after the fight guy. I hope they do their homework. I would really like them to pursue Harbough and use drafting Luck as an incentive to make him take it.
