Game# 16: Car at Atl

Not sure if Atlanta has anything to play for from a Playoff positioning point. But it does not matter as Carolina has secured the #1 draft pick. See if Jimmy can continue to improve and perhaps be in the running for the QB job next season.

Bye Bye John Fox. It was nice while it lasted, but time to part ways. Good luck to you.

Well, my question was answered. Falcons playing for Division, Homefield and 1st round bye. And of course they go out and ram it down the Panther's throats for 77 yards on the opening drive for a TD. This one could get ugly.

Let's see. Down 21 - 0 in the 3rd. You get down to the Atl. 5 yrd line and it is 4th and 2. And you kick the FG? This season is over. Why not show some fight and let the guys go for it? A FG does nothing as you are down 21 - 0. Decisions like this are why I really lost confidence in Fox.

I agree that they should've gone for it, but take it for what it is. The Falcons are arguably the best team in the league, and the Panthers are the worst team. For the second time, it showed. Why I haven't been putting money on these games is beyond me.
