I didn't care if they won or loss. All that I cared about was protecting our guys against injury.

The fact that we kept in this game for as long as we did in a game that meant nothing to us is a testament to how good this team was. And this was far from our best effort.

This.

Like I said earlier, they had their season on the line & we had them beat if not for Lovie's ill-advised timeout.

If our defense plays at this level for the playoffs, we're playing in February. We just shut down a red hot Packers team with their season on the line at their place. We're playing the winner of the Saints/NFC West and I like our chances. Green Bay kills the Eagles next week. This was the second most encouraging game of the year (besides the Eagles game).

I wouldn't call this game "encouraging" by any means because the offense was pretty horrendous. I'm proud of the effort though.

I think that this was somewhat by design. It seemed like things were dumbed down a bit.

I agree. I felt like we weren't even rushing things towards the end on that final drive when normally we would be. Before the two minute warning, the offense was walking to the line.

I'm watching comcast post-game right now. They are saying that both Major Wright & Chris Harris left the game with injuries. That's two safeties down in a meaningless game.

I don't think any of the injuries are going to be serious. Probably precautionary. If this was a playoff game, they probably would have returned. They have two weeks to rest whatever injuries they have.

I hope you Bear fans get your wish and have to play the Packers in the playoffs.

I hope so too. Would be great to avoid Atlanta and get the NFC Championship at home.

I don't think that you guys want to see us again. You won a game that you ABSOLUTELY HAD TO WIN AT HOME, while we had nothing to play for, were vanilla on offense, & made a coaching blunder. You won by 7 points. BARELY.

Well, a disappointing end but I'm floored the game was this close. Defense was astounding, but the Packers special teams had maybe its first good game this season and that hampered the offense. Cutler did make some pretty poor decisions which is disconcerting. But I'm not too concerned. Davis filled in nicely for Bennett.

Seems like the injuries are pretty minor, although losing Harris would be big.

Oh, and don't mind BucksRuleAll22, he's a pretty massive troll type.

I'm sure all Packer & Bear fans hope that. That would mean we're in the NFC Championship game playing for the Superbowl. That would be awesome...and that my good Packer friend would be in Chicago.

I wish that they were as nice to me on their board as our board is to them.

Our coaches were playing with fire this game. I'll all for playing the starters and trying to win, but WTF was up with all of the big drop backs? Six sacks for 51 yards? Is Martz a beneficiary on Jay Cutler's insurance policy or something? Inexcusable.

Maybe if they were doing this to bait their first playoff opponent into blitzing heavily this would make sense, but if they lost Cutler and we entered our playoff game with Todd Collins or Caleb Hanie it would all be on the play calling. Ridiculous.
