Go all the way back to high school and Outlaw has ALWAYS been a power forward.
He's not a traditional power forward, hell with heavy minutes he's not even a good power forward (at the NBA level) but he plays a hell of a lot better as a power forward than as a small forward.
Ever since Avery got whooped by the small-ball Warriors he's been scared to go small himself, and that coupled with Avery's insistence on pigeon-holing players into positions is hurting the Nets at this point in time.
