Offtopic, brief message to Seattle area hockey fans

Post#1 » by jambalaya » Thu Aug 30, 2007 6:40 pm

Hey. If you feel you can support this message, we would appreciate the public support by writing David Stern and saying "NBA: Respect the fans. Keep Sonics in Seattle" or displaying the banners or in any other way supporting the efforts to retain the team Perhaps the arena solution will lay the groundwork for NHL expanding in Seattle. Thanks for your consideration.

This post is merely an attempt to support your situation with the Seattle Supersonics, and has nothing to do with the NHL...which is why it should stay in the NBA forums.

I understand why you're creating the topic, and truly do hope the NBA stays in Seattle, but some things need to stay in the NBA forums.

The NHL in Seattle possibility with an arena solution is something the Sonics owner has actively investigated though the initial NHL response was not encouraging. I posted this as a brief one time message. If your board is strict about off-topic you can take it down with my apologies.
