I've been thinking about this, and I think this rotation would be able to win us more games. Let me know where you agree and disagree.
Darren Collison (32)/AJ Price (16)
To me, AJ Price brings instant offense. He's one of the few Pacers who dares to shoot off the dribble, and though it's a very small sample size, he's shooting almost 10% better from the field than TJ Ford. Our offense has the tendency to get stagnant, and he can provide a definite boost. He also makes sounder decisions than Ford. Ford is better for penetrating and creating, but his speed isn't effective on defense when he just gets outmuscled. AJ Price isn't big either, but he gives up less size on defense than Ford. Darren Collison's minutes should be consistent, and should be in the 32-25 range. I feel that this is self-explanatory.
Brandon Rush (30)/Paul George (18)
Rush is our best wing defender. He's not a complete shutdown defender yet, but he's smarter than he has been in past seasons and his shooting rivals Dunleavy's, especially with his newfound confidence in pull-up jumpers and driving to the rim. Paul George should get minutes now since, even though it was against the Wizards, he's showing why he is the 10th pick. He also has the ability to defend better than Dunleavy and electrify with his fastbreak dunks.
Danny Granger (34)/Mike Dunleavy (14)
Granger should continue to play the same minutes, obviously. Dunleavy should be tooled back, because although he's one of the more creative offensive players on the roster, his defense has been lackluster. He's also not as consistent of a shooter, especially on the road.
Josh McRoberts (24)/Tyler Hansbrough (24)
While Solo has his mid-range jumper, McRoberts has a 3-pointer and Tyler Hansbrough can get to the line. Not to mention they both chase after loose balls better. I've always been a proponent of giving Hansbrough more time, and I think splitting even with McRoberts would give a nice balance to the PF position. Of the three, Hansbrough is actually the least foul-prone also, and the only one to draw more fouls than he gives.
Roy Hibbert (30)/Jeff Foster (18)
Hibbert's not ready for much more than 30 minutes a game (35 occasionally, but between foul trouble and fatigue, closer to 30). Foster should be the backup instead of Solo for basically the same reasons. Solomon chases well, but not as well as Foster, and he doesn't box out as well as Foster. Foster also plays the exact opposite of Hibbert's game while being a good passer at the elbow.
Once again, this is just what I think it should be. Solo should stay on in case of fouls and Ford and Posey should put suits on in favor of Dahntay or Lance.

Re: The rotation I want
I agree 100%, except I have a different wishlist as to who should be in street clothes. Normally, I'd say don't suit up Solo but like you said, he needs to be there for insurance as a big.
I'd like to see Dahntay stay in his uni. He's shown the ability to be a good defender in Denver and had a career year offensively last year. If he can show that he can put them together, he'd be good to keep around or showcase in a trade. And, like Solo, I like a point guard being ready in case of injuries or foul trouble. And honestly, right now, I feel TJ should suit up over Lance. Maybe showcase him for a trade, but if he's still a Pacer in March, get Ford fitted for a suit-and-tie.
So...
PG - Collison/Price
SG - Rush/George (Duns can't hang with the Kobe's, Ray Allen's, and Joe Johnson's of the NBA)
SF - Granger/Dunleavy
PF - McBob/Hansbrough (love the 24-24 idea)
C - Roy/Foster
Reserves: Solo (brulsh) and T.J.
Street clothes: Posey, Lance, Dahntay

Re: The rotation I want
I don't buy it. TJ is doing fine and Hansbrough has yet to earn more time.
Paul did look good Friday and I think you can expect to see him more regularly going forward. if that pushes Danny to 4 some and cuts back on Posey's minutes so much the better.

Re: The rotation I want
Nope.
Danny nor Posey have any business at the 4. Tyler needs the minutes and will improve as he gets them.
The tiny tandem of Collison and Ford offers us up nightly to larger points for abuse. Price can help that.
TJ has proved his value. Lets trade him.

Four people in the Jim O'Brien fan club? Isn't that about 4 too many?
Or are they his assistants because he's keeping them employed too?

I'm pretty sure Lester Connor was never a member.

Would like to see Hansbrough start at some point.. The lineup of Collison , Dun , Granger , HIbbert and Hansbrough is +17 in 44 minutes. Compared to the +65 in ~270 minutes of the usual 5.

I'd like to see George and Hansbrough play more, just not at any of our starters minus Dunleavy's expense.
