you didn't see him travel, chuck, flop, foul, and pout the game away in the 3rd qtr when we had a 9 point lead? Good thing, I did and it looked turrible.

i didn't realize he was in the last 4 min

I will tWill got playing time, while Patterson is looking more and more impressive defensively, I'd love to see him get some more minutes. Kid looks like he's got a lot of confidence, and he's well built.

I often find myself asking the same question of whether Martin was in the game. Our defense was poor, and Melo killed us. Factor in we got beat on the boards, we weren't going to win a game on the road in Denver.

Why is it that when Duncan scores a quiet 30 people say it's a good thing and when Kev scores a quiet 30 it's a bad thing? I can't give an opinion because I didn't see the game today, but there seems to be a double standard going on.

Duncan scores quietly? Really? He actually more often than not throughout his entire career has hit numerous clutch and memorable shots, and Duncan's impact goes beyond his statistics, especially defensively speaking.

Not saying Martin's a bad player, but he's not a go-to option on a consistent basis. And he's not a clutch player down the stretch to consistently going to. Again I'm not saying he's a bad player, I love his efficiency---BUT he's more of rip hamilton like player, needs to be surrounded by impacted players.

He has hit memorable shots, but that doesn't mean he doesn't score quietly. I agree with you 100% about him not being a number 1 option, but every good team needs a sidekick like him to be successful. I was hoping that Yao would return to his old form because I think Kev would be a perfect sidekick for Yao, but that never happened. Houston needs to acquire a go-to guy at this point if they want to have a chance at getting passed the first round of the playoffs.

afflalo is the perfect defensive sg. has some size so can go to sf sometimes, can guard pgs, 3pt shot. big screw up from detroit to letting him go. perfect next to a scoring sf like melo.

Because Duncan does it for the whole game, he is a GO TO player and he's a great defender. Martins defense or lack there of has killed us, we double players who post Martin up but don't do the same for our pg Lowry, that's a problem. You can depend on Duncan every game to do multiple things well even though it might be quietly, can't say the same for martin
