NFL Playoffs..around the league.

Well, after an amazing regular season going 14-2 and clinching home-field, bye, division, yada yada yada, it's time for the Pats to get down to business.

Patriots will play the lowest seed of these 4 teams
-Indianapolis Colts (3)
-Kansas City Chiefs (4)
-Baltimore Ravens (5)
-NY Jets (6)

SATURDAY, JAN. 8
No. 6 New York Jets (11-5) at No. 3 Indianapolis Colts (10-6)
Lucas Oil Stadium, 8 p.m. ET, NBC

SUNDAY, JAN. 9
No. 5 Baltimore Ravens (12-4) at No. 4 Kansas City Chiefs (10-6)
Arrowhead Stadium, 1 p.m. ET, CBS

It looks like we are deemed to play Baltimore. I don't see sexay rexay and the crew going into the Indy Dome and winning. KC could win though, they are a tough beat at home. I don't know how happy I am about the way things could pan out. Personally I'd love to see the Jets take advantage of a late manning turnover, and send them to a date against us for the rubber game.

So who do you guys want to face in the first round?

---------
As for the NFC for those who will be following

SATURDAY, JAN. 8

No. 5 New Orleans Saints (11-5) at No. 4 Seattle Seahawks (7-9)
Qwest Field, 4:30 p.m. ET, NBC

SUNDAY, JAN. 9

No. 6 Green Bay Packers (10-6) at No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)
Lincoln Financial Field, 4:30 p.m. ET, FOX

I'm seeing Green Bay upset a backstepping , while the Saints will steamroll Seattle.

Of the three possible matchup I'd take my chances with the Kansas City if it all possible. They are just not a good team on the road. I'd like to stay away from the Ravens, but as you said that looks like the most likely.

In my picks pool for my buddies I have
Saints -10.5
@Colts -2.5
@Chiefs +3.5
Packers +2.5

Packers are a good team that had a hard schedule if I'm not mistaken. Eagles have been stumbling as of late. Chiefs, I just like them getting a field goal at home against anyone except the Pats. Ravens are a good team but they just seem inconsistent to me. Every team they've played sort of hangs around and I'm going through their schedule and I can't find one signature win that really makes me believe in them. Barely edged the Jets week 1 and Steelers week 4? Long time ago.

Colts have owned Rex Ryan so I dunno why that line is so low. 2.5 point favorites at home? That line basically says Jets are the better team. Call me a Pats homer but the Sanchize will kill the Jets sooner or later in a big game and the Colts still have Peyton freaking Manning. The other game is a joke. Saints should win by 2 touchdowns easily.

Man, I really want to face the jets now after what Ryan said about Brady. This guy just doesn't shut up.

You got your wish. It's my belief that that truly was the worst Colts team of the past decade.

We should now make a rule on this forum that from now on since we are so much better than that team in our division that's its below us to even mention their name or any names of players or coaches.

My prediction this week is that the opposing coach will be really fat and say something dumb.
Bill Bellichick will say nothing.

Then Patriots win.

Feel like Ravens games are always closer than score looks. Ravens played great, but KC was in the game for a long time. Jamaal Charles is a beast, but Cassell kept turning it over.

I went 1-3 in my picks this week. Yikes.

Pittsburgh to the AFC championship game.

Baltimore (who I've been most afraid of) is eliminated.

Packers are blowing Atlanta out.

I thought this was going to be the best game of the week :-?

Hate to look ahead, but looks like Patriots would have a difficult NFC opponent in the superbowl if they made it that far.

It's true.
