I'd seriously be more nervous playing the Lions at Ford in a playoff game than playing the Seahawks at Quest Field.

Looks like Ricky Williams is going to leave Miami.

He'll be 34 next season, but with the time he missed he still has some gas in the tank, IMO.

I wouldn't mind taken a chance on him. Still very productive, averaged over 4 ypc this season.

Ronnie Brown is a free agent too.

I wouldn't mind going after either of them.

I'm fine with Grant, Starks and Jackson in the backfield next year. If we let Jackson go, just draft a RB late and fit him in as the 3rd stringer.

Those guys along with Kuhn should be good enough. I already think Starks is good enough... We just don't run him for some reason.

I'm fine with Grant, Starks, Jackson, Kuhn next year. What really needs to improve is the run blocking.

Exactly.

Tackle, guard and center are all bigger needs for us than RB, IMO.

So long as Jackson isn't relied on to be the every down back, we should be fine. It would be nice to upgrade Colledge and Wells. Hopefully Lang is the long-term solution at LG. It would also be nice to find a long-term solution for when Clifton is done.

Offensive line is still this teams biggest need, by far, IMO.

I am a huge TT fan, but if there is one thing he has struggled at and struggled big time... It is finding offensive linemen.

I agree on TT and the offensive line, it seems his strategy may have changed a little bit but I'm not sure 100%. It seemed early on he had this fascination with "athletic guys that could play multiple positions" I'm hoping he is ready to build an OLine by just getting big beefy guys that can knock the **** out of defenders instead of his sick fascination with versatile linemen.

I think we need to add speed. While I absolutely think we could stand to add two starters to the offensive line, I think there is something to be said for adding a home run threat in the backfield.

It doesn't mean we have to take a guy in the first round, but for christ's sake Jackson and Kuhn averaged 3.7 and 3.3 YPC, respectively. That's beyond abysmal.

Somehow that group of backs needs an upgrade.

Everything I have read about Grant's injury says he should be the same player after it. Apparently his injury doesn't have a major long term impact on players. So I assume he is going to come back and be the same guy.

I think James Starks has also shown he can run the ball well... We just don't give him the ball enough and it is frustrating. He should be the only back carrying the ball on first and second down.

Brandon Jackson is the guy I'd like to see replaced with, like you said, a home run threat. A third down back who can break off huge plays when you dump off passes to them out of the backfield and things like that. I do not think (like you also mentioned) you have to take those type of guys early. There should be plenty of prospects with blazing speed later on in the draft.
