Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzlies 1/4/2011

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Tue Jan 4, 2011 8:44 pm

I think this is an important game. Tough seven game stretch starts tonight, and this game is the 'easiest' road game of the bunch. Lose here, and we could be looking at a 2-6 stretch of games (counting the Spurs loss).

They've had 3 days to stew over the pathetic outing against the Spurs, so I expect them to come out with 100% effort tonight. We're 10-1 in games after losses, so that should be a positive omen.

Where did I say we'd lose? :)

I think we'll win a close game. 102-99 or some such.

If the defense isn't there tonight the Grizz could light us up. I hope they got alot out of the beatdown they got in SA and take care of business tonight.

It's hard to score points when you have no shooters. Memphis isn't guarding Jeff Green or Thabo on the perimeter, nowhere for Russ to go.

But, hey, as Scott Brooks says 'the offense will take care of itself' I guess.

why is brooks so stubbornly idiotic with his rotations?

stop playing green at pf and start harden for some shooting already

Harden runs the PnR better than Maynor or Westbrook.

Time to start recycling game threads, we will change the thread title and just edit the opposing team name in all of our posts. Other than that they are the same game after game.

I built a theory.

Westbrook and Maynor work their pnr out with Scott Brooks. The only basis of pnr Harden has is from High School. So High School coach > Scott Brooks.

Jeff Green hurts this team. I can't imagine how anyone watching this game can feel that Green is giving them the best chance to win at PF. He's so bad.

"Zach Randolph is killing us, maybe I should play Jeff Green MORE. That'll work."

21 first half minutes. Scott Brooks must be the only person on the planet who can't see that Jeff Green can't play defense and he's a mediocre offensive player.
