I’ve actually known about this for a while, but I’ve been dragging my feet on just what to say about it. I’ve decided you need to know since you’ll find out eventually and I’d rather it come from me than some other blog which will probably highlight my small career sample, average right-handed-ness, and otherwise inconsequential impact on a program of up and coming talent. If you’re a fan of the idea of me being a Toronto Blue Jay, the following wont be easy for either of us: I won’t be coming back to the Toronto Blue Jays organization this coming season.

Re: Dirk Hayhurst says goodbye
it good to see that even big leagers or almost big leagers are so down to earth.i am sure it makes most of us canucks warm and fuzzy in side when we here our neighbors to the south say nice things about us. Why is that and why is it so important for us to here that. Do you think Roy was a sincere with his good bye?

Was hoping he'd be in the mix for the pen. Will continue to follow on twitter.
I doubt there is a more down to earth ballplayer than Dirk.

Knowing Roy (not that I know him) but knowing what I have heard about Roy, I'm sure he was sincere.
