Pek, easily. I think you pump as many minutes into him as you can, because I think that he could be a legit backup center by next year. He just needs to get used to the NBA game.
Also, no offense to Kosta, but he looks like a doofus compared to Pek's badassedness.

I definitely think that Peks can be a good backup C in the NBA but not on a team that features Kevin Love at PF. Pekovic is just too slow, too stuck to the ground, and too lacking in length to effectively cover Kevin's weaknesses.

Re: Koufos vs Pekovic
I think they both have good potential. Pek is thinking too much, as he adjusts to the NBA rules and the playbook I think he'll be a very good backup scoring threat. Though I think he needs to be out there with Tolliver or Darko, not Love, a mobile big with length is pretty much a requirement when he is on the floor.
Kosta is young. He does have a decent frame and some skills, he needs to get stronger and more focused, like all the young guys. He has a shot to be a pretty good defensive center in a few years.

Re: Koufos vs Pekovic
Kosta has an offensive arsenal. It sounds funny saying that after launching a brick getting scared by Shaq presence. IMO i am happy he will work with Lambir and Rambis but i do not know if Minnesota can sacrifice minutes for his development. Fans are too anxious to get results and that requires instant productivity from the bench. He is inconsistent. He may get a good three minute appearance in the 2nd quarter and become the first option for the third. Then he steps in, in the third and look Doufus. The treatment to that is long and i do not know if Minnesota fans are that patient (by reading the live game threads).
I expected more from Pekovic. He has skills and manhandles under the basket but statistically wide in some games he has been a pain.
I will stick though with what guys post in this thread. Its the rotations and the lineups that make often guys struggle. IMO Pek does not fit with Love but would fit better with Darko. Kosta would be a better fit with Love and maybe Flynn on the point (he sets good high picks in the perimeter creating lanes, while Pekovic is more of a "give me the ball in the post"). There are two plays when Kosta posted the opposing point guard down low and Luke did not pass him the ball. The first was against the Nets where he gave the ball to Love and made an "and one" and the other was a terrible pass against the Celtics where Webster stepped out.
Maybe it is not the suitable thread but i believe the adjustment in rotations will make Minnesota keep the leads and get Ws.

Your passport to the NBA is commitment to defense, picks in offense and score after second chances. Don't your dear again and have a go to move by posting. Don't even think about posting or requesting the ball at the post. You need a lot of work Koufos to start with a post.
Pekovic ... 2 games... 1 rebound?

This.
Both players, when given big minutes have put up solid numbers. I've only seen them with limited minutes though, every time Koufos has touched the ball offensively it's been rather cringeworthy, whereas Pek hasn't done too badly in the post. Both don't seem to be too bad at the line either. Defensively Pek's far too slow and clumsy, as is Koufos but maybe to a lesser extent. Though I think Koufos is more fragile mentally, I could tell that just by the way he crumbled against Shaq. He was star struck.

Re: Koufos vs Pekovic
Pekovic is a huge disappointment. He blows so hard...I thought he was supposed to have a good offensive game? everytime I see him shoot a hook its really flat and bricks.
