Kahn would never do that. We'd need to add a couple point guards into the deal.

I voted 50/50. I think the Jazz would like to trade him for the right player or package of assets if it gets them under the luxury tax at the same time. If they take a player back it would have to be a player like Big AL who is a good player in a bad situation, struggling on a struggling team, so the player would be another reclamation project, someone not living up to their contract but has the potential to do so and maybe outplay it; so while it hurts the Jazz this year, it is however the right time to swing it if they can, as long as they turn that contract into future value. If they can't do that, then they are left with signing him or doing a sign and trade if they want to be able to retain the value he represents, and while he is overpaid he is still a starter and way better than any other sm forward the Jazz have right now, and actually pretty good when matched up against the best sm fwds in the league, and he's been doing it for some time, so that's alot of value imo. There are definitely some players out there that I like who I think would benefit from a change of scenery, but then convincing them that scenery is Utah is out of the question for probably 50%; however, any body serious about being a better basketball player and truly wanting to be on a winning team, and who sees value in the SL community, then it is really a good situation and possible. Maybe a similar type of deal can be swung for AK47 as the Jazz did with Big AL.
