2011 Home and Away Opponents

Post#1 » by dingojazz » Wed Jan 5, 2011 6:02 pm

Next year the NFC North plays the NFC South, and the AFC West. The Bears will also play the champs of the NFC East and NFC West.

Home Opponents: NFC North, Atlanta, Carolina, Kansas City, San Diego, Seattle
Away Opponents: NFC North, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Denver, Oakland, Philadelphia

Can't read too much into in at this point but it's interesting anyway. Looks like a pretty tough road schedule.

By the way I got this from Kevin Siefert's NFC North blog on ESPN.com

Hey Emperor, you were supposed to save that for your prediction thread next season :D .

Good job with it this year, my friend.

The road schedule will be pretty difficult, but I like the home schedule for the most part.

The Bears almost never have good seasons consecutively. 2005-2006 was the only time i can remember, going back tot he 90s. Its very frustrating that they can't be good consistently.

This. Hopefully we don't become this year's Bengals next year.

That's a pretty bad road schedule. Even the Denver game which should be a walk in the park won't be because the crowd will absolutely be fired up with the return of Cutler again.
