Clippers forward Blake Griffin, who has become must-see TV because of his slam dunks, will be in the NBA's slam dunk contest, sources said Tuesday night.

Joining Griffin will be Washington Wizards 7-foot center JaVale McGee, Oklahoma City Thunder 6-10 forward Serge Ibaka and Milwaukee Bucks 6-1 guard Brandon Jennings, sources said.

Jennings, who attended Dominguez High in Compton before he finished his high school career at Oak Hill Academy, has a broken right foot and is expected to be out four to six weeks, but he is expected to be healthy for All-Star weekend.

Griffin, the Clippers' 6-10 rookie power forward, has put on an amazing display of dunks that has caught the attention of NBA fans.

He'll have a chance to show is stuff during All-Star weekend at Staples Center. The dunk contest will be Feb. 19.

LeBron needs to stop being scared and get in the competition. I did not expect McGee or Ibaka, but it can be interesting with 6'10+ guys. Then they throw in Jennings, which is even more surprising than the other 2. Westbrook would have been a nice fit imo.

There is going to be a lot of POWER Dunks, especially between McGee & Griffin. I hope STAPLES have a few extra backboards.

Besides Griffin I was surprised to see the participants in the dunk contest. To be honest I don't really like taller players in the dunk contest, Griffin is my exception. I know that McGee is tall and long, but I don't know what his vertical is. For Ibaka and Jennings I never really considered them dunkers. I know Ibaka can dunk, but I never thought that he was really dunk contest worthy. I hope this dunk contest turns out to be good, but I think overall the NBA could have chosen better participants.

I am so excited to see Blake blow away the competition. I would have loved to see Paul George enter as well.

Believe it or not, Javale McGee.

At least I think so....

D-Rose & LeKing should replace Jennings & Ibaka. Griffin will win this thing with ease either way though.

McGee can dunk. He's 7 feet but he dunks like he's smaller. He can easily do wind mills and such. Jennings is also a great dunker. Griffin has legit competition from those two. Ibaka, not so much.

If they were going to go with a point guard, they should have went with Rose or Westbrook. I don't know a thing about Ibaka. Too bad Iguodala wont do it again. He's probably still pissed that he was robbed that year he did participate.

I would have preferred to not have either Kenny or Chris. They should have given us Chocolate Thunder.
