Re: Juventus FC
huge victory last week vs Lazio...Krasic saved us in the last second. every game is big now, hoping for no letdowns vs Chievo!

We're here... Juve isn't. 6 draws in the Europa League, did we achieve a record?

Re: Juventus FC
Yea Europa league was a disappointment, but I believe they would have advanced anyway if they didn't play in a legit blizzard in Poland. They also outplayed Man City twice.
I was never too concerned about Europa league...it injured too many of our guys and I'd rather focus on finishing top 3.
They continue to improve each game, and we play with a totally different determination thanks to Del Neri, the new management, and the additions of Krasic, Aquilani, Bonucci, Storari, and Quags
We deserved the victory this past week vs. Chievo, anyone who watched knows

Wakin up to watch the Parma game. We gotta take it and hope for points lost by Napoli vs. Inter, and Milan against Cagliari....it's only possible because Nesta won't be playing.

Re: Juventus FC
Whose idea was it to loan out Giovinco?
magik, go to sleep. It's not worth it.

They don't give you even the slightest hope, do they?

Re: Juventus FC
nauseating!!!!!!
Quagliarella going down after 4 mins and the worthless Amauri is all we have to rely on up top with his first game back in months. If Quags is hurt badly we must buy someone (if that someone is Luca Toni I will give up)
Felipe Melo has gone without being an idiot for a while, why should I have expected anything less....
I am happy for Giovinco. They did him dirty never giving him a chance, and he still didn't even break a smile after scoring twice.
At least the false hope lasted only seconds until the penalty kick, so back to bed it is I guess.

Re: Juventus FC
And another former Juve player Rafaelle Palladino scores the closer, 4-1.

Re: Juventus FC
Lol Palladino was another one of my favorites. I'm surprised Candreva didn't score too; he was easily one of our best players last year when we got him, and we could have kept him for a cheap price.

This what's worrying me most right now
If Amauri has to play another full match all month I'm not sure i'll be able to watch. Obviously he wasn't supposed to play this much so soon, but his body language is about as awful as he played... I'd honestly prefer a great-grandfather Del Piero or a one-legged Iaquinta.
After the Chievo game where we truly dominated despite being down to 10, and hit the bar a couple times only to blow it in the last minute, I was still optimistic about making a serious run for the scudetto.
Clearly we have to realize that Melo totally ruined the game for us. We needed to use 2 subs in the first 30 minutes while being a man down
But I can only hope for a 3rd place finish to be happy, 4th to be satisfied. Roma and Inter will be on our asses all season and Napoli is legit, i doubt we catch them.
Speaking of....I have 0 confidence going into Sunday...a crucial game vs. Napoli.
Aquilani, Krasic, and Chiellini are going to have to play outta their minds.
could it really be another dreadful january for juve?
i think we finally have a coach who can avoid it, but injuries and players kicking ppl in the heads will make him useless

Re: Juventus FC
If we blow up the training facilities while Del Piero, Krasic, Chiellini, Buffon and some others are away, will they give us any compensation?

Re: Juventus FC
I wish I could be happy about it. He is a threat only for headers in the box. The guy was a superstar, but he can hardly move anymore. But with Krasic sending him crosses, he may work out for us. He won't do a single thing on his own like he used to be able to...he'll only be as good as everyone else can make him
Quagliarella was having a great season and is now out for the season

Re: Juventus FC
And more embarrassment for Juve. [and time for me to rant]
The determination that we had before the break was screwed by the last second Chievo goal, then last weeks mockery of a game. Now we just feel sorry for ourselves.
We need a forward who can create something on his own...Amauri is out of shape and lazy, Iaquinta will never be healthy for longer than 3 weeks, and Del Piero is old. Toni is also old; he doesn't have the ability to score goals out of nowhere anymore. He will only be effective next to a foward who can actually benefit from his ability to draw defenders to him in the box. We should pay a billion euro for Forlan if we want to make champions league...... the Quagliarella injury killed us.
I must also throw in that Grygera is the saddest excuse for a defender I've seen on this team in a while (since Boumsong to be exact). I will even say he is the worst player on the team. All 3 goals were pretty much his fault. I am obviously very bitter seeing the potential that we were showing go to waste because we are feeling bad for ourselves.
Del Neri is the best coach we've had since Deschamps was forced out after winning serie B...i don't understand why he would start Grygera out of no wehere.

Re: Juventus FC
For their own sake I hope so lol
I still have hope for the future and faith in Del Neri, as long as he never starts Grygera again.
