As long as it's not a turn over. Weren't our first two plays against the Cards turn overs?

2 of the first 3 were.

I just looked at the boxscore - LOL @ Warner throwing 5 TDs, and 4 incompletions.

Rodgers in the shotgun. Four wide (Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Jones) with Jackson in the backfield. Rodgers takes the snap and hands off to Jackson who shovel passes it back to him in a flea flicker like play. The refs throw three flags. Rodgers throws a pass and it bounces off of a blitzing cornerbacks face 35 feet in the air. Madness ensues as there is a giant pile of people waiting for the ball to come down.

Rodgers leaps up over all of them and catches the ball, but is then hit. Rodgers fumbles, leading to five different offensive players and three defenders attempting to fall on it. The ball continues to pop loose and bounce all over the field until Rodgers once again comes up with it and starts to run towards the endzone. Rodgers shoe falls off and it causes him to slip and fumble once more. Chad Clifton grabs the ball and starts to run, but his knees give out, allowing Asante Samuel to get the ball.

Samuel runs down the sidelines where he sees Clay Matthews, gets frightened and fumbles on purpose. Guess who? Yeah, Rodgers is there to recover the fumble. Rodgers rumbles down the sideline, stiff arming and running over defenders with both of his shoes off now and finally dives into the end zone for a score. The Philly crowd moans in disbelief and Rodgers does the title belt celebration before spitting in Jenn Sterger's face.

Then the referee announces it was holding on the offense... 1st and 20 coming up.

Anyone who has the time please look at our season and post our first plays. I'd be interested to see run vs. pass and what the results were. Also what the results of our first drives were. It seems as if we never score the first time but I might be wrong. I hope Philly gets the ball first.

9 Pass calls (including the Rodgers scramble)
7 Run Calls

Average gain of: 5.2 yards per passing call, 4 yard per running call.

Really, all things considered, not terrible.

Oh, and I think it will be a Rodgers deep sideline route to James Jones, caught for a 35 yard gain.

We had the ball first 10 times, second 6 times (one of the 10 was the recovered onside). Of the 10 times we had the ball first we were 7-3, when second we were 3-3. Of the 10 when we had the ball first we scored 4 times, 1 TD and 3 FG's. 4 punts, one turnover, one missed field goal. Of the 4 times we scored on the opening posession we were 2-2.

Of the 6 times we had the second possession of the game we scored 1 touchdown, 2 fumbles, 2 punts, one missed field goal. It always seemed to me we did better NOT having the first possession but in fact we did.

Lol I was thinking the samething. Ill predict than a 4 yard pass to Quarless on 2nd down. On 3rd down a 10 yard slant incomplete to driver. 4th down a crap punt for 35 yards with a 15 yard return by Jackson.
