Oklahoma City Thunder @ Dallas Mavericks 01/06/2011

No Dirk, No Butler. Nice opportunity for the team to rebound from two demoralizing losses.

Over / Under on Jeff Green's rebounds for the game is 3.5. Taking wagers now. :)

Same story for me 8-).

I think this game is definitely in our reach to win. Hopefully the guys are pumped and fire up after 2 straight losses

Is it me or has KD been missing alot of free throws lately. The drive for that and 1 was pretty sweet though.

Even the commentators see it. Bad half court offense, lack of size, bad defense.

They see it but yet they seem to think that Brooks is simply waiting to implement an offense.

How does James Harden only have 9 minutes?! Scott Brooks is the absolute worst game manager. Harden is playing terrific. Such BS.

Well Jeff Green has only got 11 minutes, so hopefully Brooks has learnt something.

He's learning with green minutes but where all those green minutes going to? I would have expected close to green's minute for a start. And i'm already being nice. A reborn Harden >>>>> Slumping green.

For a team that doesn't really care about conventions and play green as spot C at the end of the game, he doesn't have the right to state that we need more size or anything like that for not playing harden.

Second chance points are hurting us right now. Oh......not putting a hand a hand in Terry's face and letting Marion out work us doesn't help either.

Green's minutes went to Thabo (19 minutes) instead of Harden. How can that be explained?

To be fair though, Thabo was playing some solid basketball (steals, leading fast breaks). I can semi-understand what he was doing there, but I would still like to see Harden on the floor. He really is just fun to watch as well.

Also how much longer can Marion keep chucking up hail mary's and hitting them though? It's driving me insane.

We're lucky we're only down 4 with how well Dallas are shooting.

I like what we're doing offensively on a couple of these possessions. Dallas is switching screens and we're getting Kidd matched up on Green in the post. Usually it's Dallas who does that to us with Dirk and Kidd, a little taste of their own medicine.

They killed us in the 4th quarter the past 2 games. Need to maintain this execution and intensity.

Brooks might be wrong again, but we're playing good basketball today. Thanks to really nice game by Westbrook most. You know... If you don't have a Coach at Bench, you must have a coach on court to play good Basketball. We depend totally on Westbrook's night.

Green's been good at offense, and Sefolosha is good overall. But I'm still in love with Harden and Ibaka.

Ok, they don't have Dirk and Butler, but let me dream on better days.

The defense has played well overall except some breakdowns, but Dallas has been terrible since Dirk / Butler went down anyway on offense.

I like how we've attacked their zone on a couple of these possessions offensively.

Green has 12 points on 12 shots so he hasn't exactly had an efficient offensive game, but we've done a great job finding him near the basket and he's limited his attempts to close shots which is a step in the right direction for sure.

It was a little ugly and closer than it should have been with Dirk and Butler out. Green had the right idea but wasn't especially efficient, it was a step in the right direction for him offensively. Defensively, he was really lax in the first half on Marion.

Our half court offense struggles a ton against any but the worst defensive teams. We got by at the end on put backs by Serge, Nick, etc. but man, we need to improve the offense.
