Olney: "I was lucky enough to cover Roberto Alomar in the first half of the 1996 season, while working at the Baltimore Sun, and to this day that is the greatest extended period of play I've seen from anyone. It was as if he invented ways to alter games, whether cutting down a runner at third base on a relay or taking an extra base because he had correctly read the angle of an opposing outfielder."

Congrats to Alomar and it's about time we had a Blue Jay in the Hall.

Used to be amazing how he would take away sure singles from hitters.

Absolutely amazing player. I remember being devastated with the strike and then losing some of my favourite players later; Olerud, alomar, etc.

The hit against Eckersley (especially after the stare down the inning before) and him scoring doing the tomahawk chop and the countless mind boggling fielding plays I will never forget.

I think in celebration of the induction I will have to pull out the old vhs and watch all four 92-93 Blue Jays tapes and get goose bumps and teary eyed over those amazing teams.

HIV's not such a big deal anyways. It's essentially a virus just like say the Swine flu virus. Your body can fight it off. The only problem is when you turn yourself over to the doctors who will Fu%^##@ you up with drugs and whatnot, which destroy your immune system and allow the virus to take over. You just need to keep your immune system strong and utilze some natural remedies.
