Granger

possibly available now.

Granger/Dunleavy for Kirilenko/Miles works almost to the dollar (ESPN trade machine)

Indy gets 2 expiring deals

Utah gets a scorer at the wing and an expiring with Dunleavy

What is left on Granger's contract? This is a possibly good trade.

That's terrible for Indy. Before they were talking about Jefferson+ for Granger, the Jefferson came to Utah. Now it's AK and Miles? Granger's value hasn't dropped that much (if at all).

Granger/Dunleavy for Millsap/Kirilenko works and puts Jazz under luxury tax THIS year!

Awful value for Indiana. There's no reason for them to want to "shed" Granger that I can see. An in-his-prime scoring wing on a very decent contract isn't something GMs are desperate to part with.

I don't think this deal actually helps either team that much. Granger would be great alongside Millsap.

Possibly but not for that, haha.

I don't know why but I don't like Dunleavy. I cringe each time I see a trade with him coming to Utah.

The Pacers aren't going to get great value back anyway, it never works that way. A couple of good players with expiring contracts + picks gives them a lot of flexibility.

Granger would be an awesome fit here in Utah. Brings practically everything AK does but is a deadly scoring threat; especially from 3.

I've always been a fan of Granger, would love to make a play for him.

If the Pacers want to unload Granger give them whatever player they want except Williams the Jazz don't have anyone close to him. Upgrade for sure!

You can't get rid of Millsap. His contract is a massive asset for what you get out of him. There is no way the Jazz find another PF anywhere near his ability for the same price. Granger is good, but letting Sap go for him would really hurt them.

What your kidding right you put Jefferson or Memo at the 4 vice versa and Granger makes up for this watch a little NBA Sap hasn't been that great since hid 46 point game Granger can give you a double double just like Sap can.

Sap has been the most consistent player on this team all year. I watch plenty of NBA, and in case you have missed it, Granger has been having a down year, and rarely gets a double double. Front page earlier today, Hollinger had an article up that was questioning why Granger is playing poorly this season.

Danny Granger, Indiana -- While Jim O'Brien's high-frequency substitution patterns have generated most of the attention lately, an underrated storyline in Indy is the disappointing season by Granger. The Pacers have underperformed offensively (tied for 24th in offensive efficiency) largely because their lone star has failed to play like one. Granger averaged 28.3 points per 40 minutes when he made the All-Star team two years ago, but he is down to 23.0 this season.

He's doing it with dramatically less efficiency too. Granger's turnover rate is a career high and his TS% is a career low; that's never a good combo. He's at just 41.6 percent from the floor and is averaging only five three throw attempts; at 27, it seems too early for such a steep decline. Indy won't make the playoffs unless his output recovers.

Doesn't sound like a guy I want to trade Millsap for.

How about Memo, Miles, Evans and Tomic for Granger? Maybe throw in a pick or two to sweeten up the deal a bit more.

I do a Millsap for granger in a heart beat. Granger is in a down yr but still averaging.
2 3's 21.1 pts 5.8rb 2.5ast 1.3st and a block a game. If thats struggling then I'll take it with the gamble that he improves with the Jazz. AK moves to the PF. Plus move CJ to the starting line up and Bell comes off the bench. I love that line up.

Return to Utah Jazz
