It's really surprising how much Denver looks like they're going to get for Melo. Favors plus 3 1st rounders; and they get to dump Harrington? Denver is going to rebuild in no time.

+1 Waaay too-much to get for Melo. Favors will be a stud in a couple of years.

JaVale needs to nicely tell him mother to back off and let him be his own man.

There are a lot worse influences for a young NBA player than his mother. If he is close to his mom then i say good for him.

No one said anything about him being close to his mother. Of course that is a good thing.

But her showing up in these interviews is crowding his stage isn't all that cool. I get that she used to play and she loves the camera. Give the young man some room to be his own man. That is what I'm saying. I think it is great that she comes to games. Just sit in the stands and cheer you son on and stop the interviews already. I've seen enough. One or two was interesting. Now it seems hen pecking.

Interesting. I wonder how many players mother go to games. I don't see a lot of camera shots of players mothers in the stands.

it sounds like this is a personal problem for you, not Javale.

I don't see how his mom coming to the games/giving interviews prevents Javale from "being his own man". You'll have to explain that one to me.
