It'd be nice to see the Grizz extend their current streak against quality opponents to 3 games - Utah's ALWAYS a tough ticket though.

Somehow I do not like our chances against Utah. Their bench may not be all that great, but I think Deron may light us up tonight. Hopefully, I'm wrong though and we can get back to 500.

Utah always seems to take care of business against the Grizz, so I expect a loss. But I expected a loss in LA and at home against OKC, so what do I know?

These teams are so evenly matched. Rebounding will be the key.

They're so close to turning the corner

That's their pattern though. Make everyone believe they're finally starting to get it, get a string of quality wins, and then up and lose to NJ, Sacramento, etc. The inconsistency is maddening.

I'll have to agree with you here. As promising as this win is, (and it is very promising) they have fooled us before.

Taking a look at the schedule, the "let down" losses are going to be Charlotte and Detroit next week - if the Grizz stay true to form

Does anyone besides me think it's no coincidence that since Tony Allen has started the team seems to be playing a little more aggressively as a whole? We talked about in the past the need for a tough defensive perimiter veteran.

I don't think it's not no coincidence.

I'm done making proclamations on this team turning the corner. At least until they win more than 6 in a row. :)

Agreed. He brings his tenacity on almost every possession and it rubs off on the other guys on the floor with him.

It's funny because every time before I have seen him, he looked out of place in the offense. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he is not as effective as a decision maker dribbling the ball around. Because Vasquez does not have the best handle as a point, it is a nightmare when he plays alongside Allen. So, when other players dominate the ball and Allen plays a supporting role, he is actually very valuable.
