Give this team some more time they just caught the Knicks on a wrong night. Look what thappen in the lakers game. They we busting their ass and barely beat us. In a week or so we should know wether this team has a chance for the the playoff. I think this a top 10 team in the NBA.

---- yes, worth noting. It's harder to find anything good about this game than it was in the Laker's one.

As to swapping JR for VC (earlier post), it wasn't a trade of players, it was a trade of expiring contracts - we weren't going to be keeping JR anyway. So we "won"by virtue of adding cap space/trade value for Vince's contract

Man, it sucks when the best thing you can say about a team is 'improved position fiscally'

You Suns fans show a lot of class, great fan base out in Phoenix!

Well, he left on better terms than any other free agent this summer. We appreciate what he did for us. Not sure we appreciate his decision to leave us, but what's done is done lol.

Oh, and whoever had that sig "No we shouldn't of"...please, change that to "No we shouldn't have". Grammar pet peeve.

Not true!

David Lee left on better terms :P

Which begs the question...why didn't Phoenix go after Lee harder? From what I understood, GS was offering Lee more money, but if NY got LeBron, Lee might have went to Phoenix instead (we couldn't have made the S&T with GS if LeBron took up cap space, but a S&T with Phoenix would still be available, swapping Lee for Amare)

^at the time the majority of us fans were pushing for Lee to be included in a S&T and man do I wish we'd done it.

Also, so-and-so is not "too good of a rebounder" or similar - not that good a rebounder, please - any use of "of a" other than birds of a feather, parts of a whole is et al ... is ugly English and irksome

let's not even get into "begs the question" - I've given up on that one

now if you'll excuse me I have to polish my glasses and look stern

for rasavaj

"Lee might have went to Phoenix instead"

Miss Grundy just crapped her pants

As I recall it, there was a good business reason why this didn't happen, but what was it? We did a sign and trade so Amar'e could get his re-signing max and then sent him to NY for the trade exception. Was there a reason we didn't just offer the $12mil to Lee and consider the difference in salaries a savings? Did Lee got to GS in a S&T deal as well?

it all seems so long ago

Azsports77 wrote:Melostat are you serious because I don't know if your serious coming in here with that ridiculous Amare garbage the man was not a victim he was fully guilty of playing defense and in New York so far he has not improved in that area. Sure he has had some great games but its nothing he didn't do here. Also making Amare the focal point was done with the Suns the problem they got beat by the Spurs and so the Suns realized its was better not to make him the focal point and all your reality doing is inflating his stats. The Knick's are doing well because they have some legitimate players and they are not getting any credit its all going to Amare and the same media that criticized him when he was with the Suns now love him. It could it be because if they don't you hundreds of thousand Knick fan's well tune them out and they will loose ratings they have lost so much credibility.
Another thing If I went to the game I would not cheer for him because he left for the MONEY and that is a fact plain and simple in the end winning just was not as important to him as being the center of attention and making a hundred million over six years . Does that sound like a player who well win you titles no it sounds like Iverson, Marbury, Kevin Garnett yes he too choose money over winning titles , and Tracy Mcgrady and that list goes on and on. SO Suns fans stop back pedaling and stop acting like Amare deserves to be cheered he doesn't and you don't cheer someone that leaves a team that was a win away from possibly going to the finals for his own selfish reasons .
Face it Amare and Dantoni will provide excitement and flash just like they did here but then the playoffs will arrive and when the Knick's loose and disappoint their fans and a big reason is becasue Amare only had four rebounds then Knick fans will understand why the Suns had to let him go that adn in three years he will have to undergo micro-fracture surgery on the knee again its inevitable the doctor told Amare so at that point Knick's fans will realize that Amare is about himself and not about winning. Last Gambo is such flip flopper is it me or was he trying to claim that the Knicks having all that money the Knicks can put a team around Amare the Suns couldn't and he will in a title Gambo really is a dumbass!

What an EMBARRASSMENT this team has become. The only logical explanation for just how terrible they are playing is that they are tanking to try and get the first pick in the draft. I wasn't in the "trade steve nash" boat before... but I think I'm there now. It would be one thing to be fun to watch and lose... I could handle that. But this team is just awful. They didn't start out the year all that bad either. smh. Even though the record doesn't say so... I think the Suns just may be the worst team in the NBA. :/
