thatll probably crush his fragile confidence
I immediately thought about the "Darko confidence meter" that floats around on Rubechat after reading this....Funny stuff.

Right now starting Brewer is the right move for a number of reasons. I've been an outspoken Brewer booster for a while, but he should not be a starter. The fact that this is the right thing to do just underscores how much this team needs an NBA quality shooting guard.

Dolph couldn't kill Jet Li in The Expendables.

Yeah, I don't just watch good tv. Sometimes I watch very bad stuff as well. But it was still great.

Yes We Kahn wrote:Looks like you'll get your wish:

Here's one concrete bit of change: It looks like Corey Brewer might have earned himself a start in place of Wes Johnson at the two-guard spot after the way Brewer played defense in the second half Friday against Wes Matthews.

"Corey provides a lot for us, with his energy, his effort, his desire to play defense," Rambis said. "He has improved dramatically in his attention to detail, his focus, his game-plan execution. Just recently he's kind of got his shot back in order, much better form. that will give him a chance for a higher rate of success and confidence at that end of the floor. I like the way he's playing."

Rambis thinks Johnson might have hit a rookie wall and could benefit from coming off the bench.

Wow, 2-9 from the field is back in order?

I think you will find that Rambis is referring to the shooting mechanics of Brewer, as in lately, his balance, form, shot selection and confidence is better (by Brewers standards):

Brewers last 3 games
2 Point FGs - 7/15 = 47%
3 Point FGs = 1/5 = 20%
5/8 FTs = 70%

Wesleys last 3 games
2 Point FGs - 3/9 = 33%
3 Point FGs - 4/11 = 36%
FTs - 0/0

This time last season, in January, Brewer started 16 games, averaged 16 points, shot 48% from the field, 45% from three point land , 70% from the FT line. I say this move will allow Wes to be more aggressive off the bench, shoot more and score more. As long as Brewers shots are good shots, I dont see how he will be detrimental to the team.

Great, so he'll come into class, ace the exam, kick your ass, recite Shakespeare to your girlfriend and steal her away, drive off in an Aston Martin and then sing about it on national TV. Thank God he didn't go to the U.

Yeah, and he's a Fulbright scholar and he has a patent. Maybe we could sign him...

Well you know the guy can't hit shots. You design a good play with off the ball movement and a nice pass. Like the two handed dunk he had with San Antonio.
