^Mooch there are only 48 mins at each position

You have 61 at PG, 60 at SG, 49 at SF, 46 at PF and 55 at C. Wouldn't it be nice? :D

Lol, those were just (badly) estimated approximate averages. I didnt feel like doing the math. And each player besides Nash I felt would play more than one position, so I was keeping that in mind as well :)

Oh ok lol, yeah I figured you either weren't paying attention or were just using minutes to generally make your point

I would'nt play Carter at all. Let him either get healthy or hungry.
And I'd at least try Grant off the bench, just to solidify the second unit. Not giving up on Pietrus, though he is performing just as the Magic fans warned/said.

Bottom line is, GD Frye HAS to be more consistent. I would start him and hope for the best. But with a quick hook.

And whatever happened to the 'Hockey line' pattern that many here was expecting? It seems now Gentry has turned to the 'names out of a hat' method.
What ? Me Worry ?

1st quarter:

nash - carter - ghill - frye - gortat for like 6-8 minutes in the first
dragic - dudley - carter - warrick - lopez to run out the rest of the quarter

2nd quarter:

dragic - dudley - childress - warrick - lopez for the first 4-6 minutes
nash - dragic - ghill - frye - gortat for the next 4 minutes
nash - pietrus - jchill - frye - lopez to end the quarter

and then gentry should see which player is heating up, if he uses a defensive lineup or if he goes with offense..

Props to the great one

Nash, Carter, hill, warrick, gortat

Dragic, Dudley, pietrus, frye, Lopez

Nash and warrick pick'n'roll straight up to attack the opposing teams interior and put the pressure on them early. Warrick may only be a 5min per half bit player ala Jarron Collins but I think he's better suited to this as he gets exploited if he plays more than short stints. Carter is a good second option and Hill is free to roam and crash the offensive boards from the weak side.

Then frye can come in around the 7min mark, dudley too, having shooters come in and space the floor.

This gives us rotation stability both now and in the future, should we make a trade for a Pf. Any new player acquired would simply replace warrick in the starting lineup, albeit with slightly extended minutes.
