Is it me or are two things apparent.

1) Leon Rose wants his cut of money before the CBA, and the Nets are the likely destination he has to sell him on, if its NY, Melo can wait til the offseason, resulting in Leon Rose losing some money.

2) Super Friends Part 2- Leon Rose knows that the Nets are not a threat for the 3 stooges down in south beach, however the Knicks current core with Melo + MLE could possibly be more of a threat to the Heat in the east than the Cellar Dweller Nets.

I don't think anyone minus a few people will be disappointed if he signs in NJ. The team is playing great without him and if he wants to waste his prime years away in a team battling for the 8th seed every year then so be it.
