Re: Morey's Trade Assets
I have a feeling that either Brooks or Lowry will be gone by the trade deadline though i hope we keep both due to possible injuries. So this begs the question: Do you think Lee will be running the pt. and TWilly as the 2 for the second unit?

As much as I would want to hold onto that pick.
This is a deal that I would do if I were Chicago's FO. Quit farting around, have Gar, Pax, and JR sign off on it...and don't look back. (Don't want to hear the hind-sight stuff 4 years from now about the pick).
We would not give up the Cat's pick for Rudy....and I still would not do it. But I would probably do it for Lee.
I really wanted Afflalo...but Denver won't give him up....for obvious reasons.
Cat's pick and James Johnson, maybe even a 2nd rounder (or a swap of 2nds).
Keep in mind that there is protection on that Cat's pick....
Jealousy is a sickness.......get well soon....

Update the list Mr. E sir.
Lopez seems like the best fit without breaking the bank. Depressing to say the least...

Yeah, i think it would be not giving up too much. I'm sure the Suns would ask for Brooks, but i'd give up Brooks for Lopez. If they don't want Brooks, then Hill and Bud will do.
I just don't see Gortat or Lopez being backup centers. Something is gonna give by the deadline. These two are starters, so one of them is gonna be gone i think unless the Suns play both at the same time with Gortat as PF...unlikely.

Yeah, you're probably right. I think Morey would rather trade Brooks, but he won't get fair value for Brooks, so he might just trade Lee instead.
I hope we keep Lee for the issue of guarding the bigger pt. guards though Adelman didn't play him that much last nite against the Jazz. It was stupid for Adelman to play Lowry 42minutes to begin with and have him go against DWilliams for extended minutes. Lee would've been more effective defensively against DWilliams.

Hill for Lopez should do, Lopez isn't getting significant minutes right now, and has been disappointing this year. Hill and Lopez are averaging identical stats. So with this trade we are exchanging project big men that fill a need for each other.
