Another team that we match up very well with on the offensive side of the football. And despite the near heart attack the defense gave me, I'll still go to war with these guys any day of the week.

Bring it, dirty birds.

What are you talking about? He had a 122.5 rating in spite of the numerous receiver drops, and also ran for a couple 1sts. He played quite well. It's always funny for me to see how people characterize some of his performances, like he should be super human or some crap.

I see you edited the part where I included the WR's in that post too. Nowhere did I say Rodgers had a bad game, I think he's capable of better and I think we're going to need it to beat Atlanta. Get off your high horse.

That's because it was irrelevant to my or your point, thus it was superfluous. You said both the receivers and Rodgers need to play better. Actually, Rodgers doesn't need to play better at all. He had like a 135-140 rating if the receivers did their part. Even if he posted a 122.5 again, it will certainly put us in position to win. That would 11 points better than Tom Brady this season, with runs for first accompanied. He needs to be better than by far the best quarterback in the league next week if we are to win?

Yea, Jones dropped that TD and Driver dropped that first down pass, the next play Rodgers fumbled.

I liked the improved running game, but i think MM went a bit to far with it. You run in the NFL to make passing easier and passing is what puts up points.

I saw this post and clearly you're implying Rodgers played poorly by saying Rodgers AND the WRs. If you meant just the WRs, leave out Rodgers.

I don't know how much better Rodgers could've played because obviously he can't account for dropped passes. Maybe not fumble? Maybe throw the ball a little better for Driver? either way it's really nitpicky.

Don't forget the Jennings drop on our first possession. We ended up punting - a catch there and we likely get at least 3.

If you just factor in the shocking Jones drop, Rodgers has 4 td passes and about 250 yards passing. Even with his 7 TD passes in his last two playoff games, he set a record.

Like I said in the game thread, every team has drops. Avant had a big one for the Eagles in the second half. But the frequency and severity of the Packers drops have been alarming the last few games. Rodgers has had very good games DESPITE the receiving corps.

Packers hadn't won in Philly since 1962. A-Rod wins there twice in one season.

MM is great coach,he wins playoff games leave him alone.

He's gotta be after today.

He can keep his job that he rightfully should. Excellent 3rd down/passing down back.

On that Jones TD drop, Jackson had brilliant blitz pickup on a safety coming off the left edge when Jackson was on the right of Rodgers. Plus, you've got that great screen play.

I'll keep Jackson on as our 3rd down back for the playoffs and be happy with it.

If he doesn't use Starks from now on, MM better get fired!
