Sounds to me a lot of fans are near sour graping over this with jilted/hurt feelings. I like the deal sorta as IMO it puts New Jersey about where Denver is now, not a whole lot or room for immediate growth.

So painfully obvious that Leon Rose has no respect for his client's intelligence ... and really doesn't care about his best interests.

Before the end of this thread, Melo will be in the orange and blue.

I hope that you are right, bt there are reports saying that Melo could be a net by monday or tuesday.

What did that guy mean that he deal could "drop" quickly? Happen or not? Ambiguous choice of words there.

That's going to be the excuse the people use if Melo rejects another trade...I said that a few pages ago. It's easy to read between the lines when they talk about Melo trades "dying."

Completely agree. I want Melo but this looks more and more like it's going down. For those that think it isn't, I would sit back and just wait and see but it's looking and more and more likely. Time to crush Melo for the next 5 years.

Nah, it puts them in a significantly worse position than Denver is in now when take into account depth.

Broussard already reported this to an extent. There's something that tells me Melo's ego is getting in the way a tad. Typical Lebronesque way of stealing spotlight from other in the league by drawing this out as long as it has. I'm glad I didn't get too caught up in this. Only on a Knicks forum will you have 7-8 page threads dedicated to a player who isn't on the team...

Kind of sad when you think about it.

That's just a fancy way of saying that Melo isn't signing extension.

Since we need a backup point, let's bring back Mardy Collins.

And i dont think tyson chandler will resign with the mavs, the mavs are old they have like a 2yr window. Dirks 32yr, kidd is like 40yr, marion is 31yr. I can see tyson signing some where else with a young team that will be good for while... Maybe knicks he would be a great fit with us.

Chris Tomasson: Nuggets are claiming it's business as usual despite trade rumors. Everyone is active except injured Martin, Andersen and Lawson as mentioned 1 minute ago

You're trying to hard Bluest. Haha. He did nothing wrong by not signing an extension and leaving his options open. There is no reason to exaggerate on this. He's not doing this for spotlight. He's doing this because this is his life and he's trying to do what's best for his life. Let the guy be.

If he signs with the Nets and they bring back Billups and Hamilton that team will be good. I have a hard time believing he is going there without a promise from CP3 or some big named player.

Maybe Melo is playing it smart. Saying everything, signing nothing. Maybe he just wants to get the hell out of Denver ASAP and will SAY whatever it takes.
