I thought the team in the NFC that would go to the super bowl would be the winner of the Packers Eagles game and that we played the best team first. Teams get weaker and weaker as we advance. Atlanta next than Seatle or Chicago.

Packers are built to play in a dome. I love it! Atlanta doesn't scare me at all. Its gonna be lights out and this game won't be close.

In all seriousness, James Starks did not get his first touch until the third offensive possession. I am still terrified that MM will continue to feature Bjax...

If you check the main Falcons' board, on the whole they are colossal homers. They just pretty much talk out of their ass with every opinion relayed. Some are acting like the game won't be close. Hello, every game is close that we play against good teams. All 6 losses have been by 4 or less. They think they can accomplish something they nor the Patriots could previously, even though the Packers aren't nearly as one dimensional on offense, and have made strides to play more clutch football. The Falcons may lose, but if they do it will be close, and the outcome will be more dictated by what the Packers do or don't achieve. We had the best point differential in the NFC, while playing a discernibly tougher schedule. It's up to us to prevail.

With the emergence of a run game our offense only has one weakness: James Jones. I like our chances against the Falcons seeing that we would have beat them in overtime if our special teams wasn't so horrible. Domes are Packer friendly, and the Falcons don't have any true playmakers on offense or defense. Arod will be out for blood after being snubbed for the Pro Bowl in favor of Matt Ryan. I can't wait.

Falcons do not scare me. We clearly outplayed them in ATL, we don't fumble on the 1 and we win.

I'm not looking past the Falcons at all - but I'd love a Packers/Bears NFC Championship game. I bet FOX was secretly hoping for Eagles/Falcons...imagine that drama.

The Falcons don't scare me either and the great thing is the Bears & Seahawks don't either.

I said going into the playoffs the only two teams that really scared me were the Eagles & Saints.

It's still going to be tough on the road but a great opportunity is presenting itself to us.

I agree on the Eagles and Saints being the two teams I feared most. Falcons and Bears will both be tough games, but I think our D can hold either team way down.

This Starks element could be huge if it allows to develop something resembling a running game.

What a game. So happy. But James jones can eat ****, and we can draft Justin Blackmon.

The NFL and Fox is going to cream it's pants if they get Bears vs Packers in the NFC Championship game.

Turner is more of a pillar of stability/horse to lean on than a playmaker. Maybe I should rephrase and say "gamebreakers" or "big play threats". Roddy is awesome but for some reason he doesn't scare me. I think Tramon and co. will be able to neutralize him.

Our bugaboo until this point has been everybody stepping down in crunch time with a chance to finish the opponent. One player finally stepped up. This is going to take a degree of pressure off every one of his teammates. It was a huge play on a couple of levels by Tramon.

We did the same damn thing against the Bears.

Packers by 4 over the Falcons.

Let's not take one game and assume the running woes are fixed, regardless if Starks gets most of the carries next week.

1. Next week will be in a dome and for whatever reason, the Packers have for a long time struggled struggled to run the ball in domes and on fake grass.

2. When we played Atlanta earlier in the year, the OL was really good at pass blocking, but got whipped when run blocking. Plus, over the whole season, Atlanta has been better vs the run than defending the pass.

With no bad weather to inhibit our passing game, i think McCarthy will try running the ball early in the game, but if it's not effective, my guess is Rodgers will have 35-40 plus pass attempts.

Why did the Saints scare so many folks here? Haven't you guys been watching them this year?

New Orleans was extremely fortunate to finish 11-5 this year. They not only lost to Arizona and lost at home to Cleveland, they needed very lucky breaks late in the Cowboys and Bengals games to get wins. They needed a late FG to beat an awful Carolina team in New Orleans. They struggled at home vs Minnesota.

I'd rather face the Saints than the Bears or Falcons, but i know i'm in the minority.

I think it's the idea of facing an elite QB like Brees.

There is no way the Bears scare me. For one, I don't think they have any shot of putting up more than 20 on our D. Secondly, while Brees has been turnover prone this year, I'm betting far more on a stupid TO from Cutler once he's really under pressure, which he would be against us.
