Joel Anthony is not the right guy to defend Aldridge. We need size against him to bother his fadeaways and even though Joel has long arms, he's still not tall enough.

I Figured it out. Spo doesn't want us to blow out Portland in the 1st half and have a repeat of the Utah game. So he keeps Joel in to keep the game close.
