Go F yourselves.

So we trade Gallo and Fields for Favours and 2 first rounders and we're golden. (NJ should probably do that trade too - I'm only half kidding)

I've been following RealGM for the past 8 years and never has there been a blockbuster trade that had this much chatter before a deal actually went down. The media tends not to hear of it until the deal actually goes down, but we're practically getting a play-by-play update of the situation. Makes you wonder who's leaking all this info, and what their ulterior motive is to release it.

Uriji knows that. He's just being spiteful. They won't do a trade with us just because Anthony wants to be here. They won't even engage in discussions. CP3 should have kept his mouth shut at that wedding

If that is the case you know they're going to want Gallo Chandler and Fields, which I don't think Donnie does.

I don't think it's changed.

Gallo (or Chandler), AR, 2014 1st, and our willingness to take back Harrington. I'm not sure about the Harrington part but I hope Donnie isn't turned off by bringing Al back. More than likely Gallo/AR can be flipped if Denver has no interest in those players. We already know of the Minnesota deal for AR, and I'm sure a team like Cleveland, Toronto, or the Clips would be interested in Gallo or Chandler (and they have the fat TPE and/or cap space to absorb an additional contract from Denver).

The Knicks have good enough pieces to complete a deal, but Denver isn’t biting. So much so that it’s been reported they barely call Donnie Walsh back despite countless attempts to negotiate.

They suck.

I just wanted to add that they are trying to roll back current contracts as well...So Melo is risking signing that 3 year $65 mil extension with NJ and then just having it rolled back to whatever he could make with the Knicks if he waited until FA anyway....That money is not guaranteed with the CBA uncertainty

To add to that, the potential to make more money in endorsement deals and clothing, jersey and shoe sales, etc. is much more with the Knicks than with the Nets....That supplemental income should be valued much higher now with the CBA uncertainty

As much as I hate Miami, it would be nice to see them go destroy Denver in Denver so Melo realizes that this purported Nets team will have nothing on Miami for the next 5 years--his only option for winning is NYC.
