A few thoughts after watching the game.
I love what Anthony Tolliver brings to the team. He is one of the few (if only) players on the team that I feel is really playing his ass off every minute he is on the court. It is great to see and I really hope he sees more minutes and is in the long term plans for this team. Just imagine if Love played with the intensity and energy Tolliver does...
Also, although this was a late loss again... at least we made a decent comeback. We weren't up like past losses. We fought to stay close and just didn't have enough at the end. It is awful watching so many losses, but this was not that bad. Holding close away at San Antonio. It happens.
Our pathetic attempts to tie the game up at the end are a whole different issue. We ran the same exact play two times in a row with no success. I really like what Rambis has done with the team for the most part, but his in bound plays are awful. With 30-35 seconds left, why not go for two? I guess it is a choice strategy thing, but damn. If we score a two, D up like we did, then we have a one point game. It is what it is.
Just my thoughts, probably all discussed previously in the thread.
San Antonio home next. Lets go Wolves. Three close losses to this team. We deserve ONE win!

Pretty much. What Love needs to do is improve defensive fundamentals to become an even better player.

How many minutes does Love average on court? I believe after Darko's injury he is something like 38+... On the same end he seems to really struggle for the rebounds. I mean ok other guys grab rebounds but he is the only one that grabs really contested rebounds. In the beginning of the seazon he deserved minutes. I think he deserves some rest and stick with the 4 spot. He also gets little help on the scoring end. Ok his numbers are crazy but the rest of the team needs to step up for him. When was the last time he ever got a pick?

The first play was a good one. Ridnour was 2-3 from deep on the game and shooting 42% from deep, so the double screen that got him a wide open look was actually an awesome play. Maybe they could have gone for two, but Ridnour really should have made that shot so I can't fault Rambis for it.

The second play didn't have a double screen and the Spurs just defended it too well. Not much anyone could do in that situation.
