Easier, not so. Whether he stays in Denver or goes to NJ doesn't make the path to the finals for the East contenders any much more easier or harder. NJ still isn't in any condition to contend with Melo (and the other pieces they will have) this year.

Well if he doesn't go to NY, that's seriously going to be a big (potential) loss to that franchise, as all signs pointed of him ending up there. And right now, there's just no star wing on the market available that can fill that void, something I feel they needed (aside from a rebounding/D big) to raise them up another notch in the East.

my only question here is how the hell did Balkman get a long term deal that nobody wants to take on? dude hasn't done squat in the league.

i like balkman and would take him on my team anyday. he plays d, rebounds, can handle the rock a bit and is a good teamate/role player. al harrington on the other hand. uhhh.

how do you know this? I dont think he has played any significant role since going to Den, only time I see him on the floor is when its a blowout or there is a whole bunch of injuries.

we have been quoted numerous times to saying we dont want to gut the team for one guy. so i am guessing we are holding people back.

yea I dont see that either, sure Wilson is better player now but he's due for a fat pay day, something I doubt Den would want to do, with favours you still have a few years with him at the rookie scale.
