I am not a Nets fan, but I'd like it to happen. :D It allows the East to have one more team worth watching nightly.

And it makes the path to the finals for the Heat easier once the Celtics are done... :D

I just want this whole thing to be over with...in NY, Denver, or NJ...

Easier, not so. Whether he stays in Denver or goes to NJ doesn't make the path to the finals for the East contenders any much more easier or harder. NJ still isn't in any condition to contend with Melo (and the other pieces they will have) this year.

I guess I should have made myself more clear; it makes the path easier with Melo going to NJ because that means he doesn't end up in NY with Amar'e.

On Topic -

There is a blog post on ESPN by Henry Abbot talking about why the trade, if happens, will not happen until close to February 24th. Interesting, short, read...good points, but nothing out of the ordinary. Not sure if it has been posted yet.

Well if he doesn't go to NY, that's seriously going to be a big (potential) loss to that franchise, as all signs pointed of him ending up there. And right now, there's just no star wing on the market available that can fill that void, something I feel they needed (aside from a rebounding/D big) to raise them up another notch in the East.

i like balkman and would take him on my team anyday. he plays d, rebounds, can handle the rock a bit and is a good teamate/role player. al harrington on the other hand. uhhh.

how do you know this? I dont think he has played any significant role since going to Den, only time I see him on the floor is when its a blowout or there is a whole bunch of injuries.

as a Knick fan when he was here he did those things. so i guess he still does.

we have been quoted numerous times to saying we dont want to gut the team for one guy. so i am guessing we are holding people back.

Ujiri is sticking it in Billy King right now. Broussard says he now wants them to take Harrington and Balkman and give a 1st. Dude is in Eff You mode

Or the Nuggets just don't want anything the Knicks have.

Nuggets want:
1. Cap relief
2. Draft picks
3. Young players

Knicks can give them 1/3, Nets can give 3/3.

1. Eddy Curry (80% of Contract already paid)+Azabukie (80% covered by Insurance now).
2. AR can be flipped into a 1st(s), and NY has its 2014 Pick.
3. Chandler >>>>>>>>>>> Anything young the Nest can offer. NY can also Trade Gallo and/or Fields.

Your were saying?

I don't see what this poster did wrong. The original post was esentially the equivalent of me coming onto the board right now and saying my sources say "Michael Jackson just died of an overdose".

LOL wow every source right now says the nuggets have no interest in the Knicks amazing talent.

If what you were saying was true a deal with NY would be being discussed right now. Nobody overrates their roster more than KNick fans.

yea I dont see that either, sure Wilson is better player now but he's due for a fat pay day, something I doubt Den would want to do, with favours you still have a few years with him at the rookie scale.
