Read from the bottom of Page 41 to Page 44.
Apparently Wilson Chandler, Gallo, and Fields all sucks compared to Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, and 1sts:

so let me get this straight, we will believe sheridan when he says melo only extension in ny, but not when he says willing to part with AR/gallo not fields?
Yes, because in the Melo thing, Sheridan was quoting someone close to Melo.
In the article about what Donnie would trade, he was just speculating, and had no sources from the Knicks FO saying that.
See the difference?

cuz thats what melo is going by in his quote: things he reads....and from everything, there has been nothing in the papers bout NY except for sheridans piece from 1+ month ago bout how theyd be giving up gallo//AR but not fields
GM's leak what they want to leak. Why would donnie want to show what he is giving up just to show the fans he is trying?
b/c melo is reading this stuff? (as he is quoted today)
NY should be leaking stuff frequently to remind him they are trying their best to get him

Him and Amare talk a few times a week. You don't think this comes up?

have they seen favors at all? Any athletic bigman can finish when things are placed on a silver platter. But that is all favors has when i've watched him. All athleticism and no go-to moves.

in the summer, it was you (being DEN) can have ONE of gallo/AR ...nothing on fields
then it became, you can have BOTH Gallo and AR, but not fields
Melo has waited 5 months, and NY cant even decide who they wanted to offer, his patience can only run so long
Denver doesn't even know what they want. They keep changing their mind even after they had a supposedly had a deal.
Melo is waiting on Denver, that's who has the power to trade him. Not the Knicks. The Knicks weren't the ones saying you can have this guy or that guy, not both and changing through the season. That's people on the internet. The Knicks can't even make an offer, Denver isn't listening. Knicks don't have picks.
So implying that Melo is losing patience with the Knicks is pure speculation on your part and a very ludicrous assertion in my opinion.
so let me get this straight, we will believe sheridan when he says melo only extension in ny, but not when he says willing to part with AR/gallo not fields?
You can believe anything you want from anyone you want but what does it have to do with what I said. Denver doesn't want what the Knicks have unless it's a bouquet of picks. If Melo doesn't come to NY it's because he wanted to go somewhere else. it's all in Melo's hands so please enough of the dramatics about epic failure.
Melo's waiting on Denver and Denver only. What can the Knicks offer if they aren't even invited to the table.... they're not even invited to the building!
There is epic failure alright.... it's very apparent.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Is that why Amare had someone in his camp tell the papers that that isn't true and that he wants Melo in NY?

But he, like the entire Knicks organization, doesn't want it to come at a cost that would ravage a roster that Amar'e believes has great potential.
"Amar'e never said as has been reported that he does not want Carmelo," a person close to Stoudemire said last night. "He thinks he would be great in New York . . . [Carmelo] just has to be patient and wait it out."

Re: [Camelo Thread Part 7]
There is no evidence that the Knicks want nothing to do with Melo. All the evidence goes against that. If Melo actually feels this way, maybe he should read more. Every potential deal we're in begins and ends with "The Knicks will not add salary due to Carmelo becoming a FA". Melo and Amare are friends. Hang out often. I'm sure info goes around often enough there.
As far as leaking stuff, no. Why? Walsh isn't that type of person. To say this falls on him when THE OTHER TEAM isn't willing to talk is ignorant. The Nets have been in the front seat of this since the off season. Not because of what they have but because of one common goal. Keeping Melo out of NY. Your just looking for someone to blame. Carmelo would be in NY if we were in the off season. We're not so he isn't. He has to deal with a front office that has no desire to let him have his cake and eat it.
As far as what Amare said, really? Is he supposed to say "Yeah, we're good but we need another star. This team won't go anywhere without another star". Cmon son.

If your suggesting Melo gets his information from the media I can't even take you seriously anymore you can't possibly be from this reality. You must be from the other side like that show Fringe... from the place with the shiny statue of liberty...

standard answer: this is a business, and always looking to get better
leak stuff not to tick any1 of, but so melo knows nyk is trying and so hes less likely to accept extension in nj as long as he knows ny trying (which at this point he is doubting)
