Then the struggles and all the drama and finger pointing started and they went through a very bad stretch. Now that they are dominating people make it seem like they rose from the gutter.. and were underdogs all along when in fact preseason a lot of people were boldly proclaiming them the champs this year. Even Vegas odds had them winning the title. Some went crazy and said 72+ wins etc even.

And I love the argument of basically asking for evidence that can't possibly be substantiated. You want me to go find every ESPN, NBA.COM, Topbuzz forum poll... and get audio recordings from the Heat fans I've talked to?
You're accusing me of the Straw man argument in a situation where there is clearly no physical evidence I can suggest to support my claim. That doesn't make it untrue. I listed 1 source being Vegas odds preseason predicting Heat to win the title this year. It's not a surprise that a lot of people were buzzing about them beating the Bulls 72 win season either. Even coaches like Stan Van Gundy flat out proclaimed "They will break the Bulls 72 win record season". I know some took it for sarcasm but when pushed about it many times he said he was being sincere and you could tell he wasn't joking. Then all the Heat fans on forums got lively with the title talk..... and of course when the bad stretch started you had the whiners, doubters and throw in the towel types. Just like with any title contending team like Boston and Lakers it's the same way. When their team is on the up everyone is so confident.. but the minute a losing streak starts it's all tears and excuses. As for recently them suddenly being alive and cocky again just hang around on RealGM long enough and you'll see the hundreds of Heat fans coming out of the wood work trying to clown on people. Unfortunately contending franchises always attract this crowd of fans.
