why are heat fans trying to use reverse psychology and act like 75% of the fans on here didn't join on/1-2 days after the decision? and to answer the OPs ?, since everyone was practically HANDING them the title even before their opening night blowout loss, it isn't that much of a surprise that a team with 3 franchise players is #1, no

Why would someone who joined in November even care?

I expected them to have the best recored sooner, a lot sooner. Afterall they do have the 2nd and 3rd best players in the league.

because november has nothing to do with LeBron joining the Heat and 75% of Heat fans joining within the same July day??  i was just pointing out a humorous observation, although i'm assuming you're one of those people who use join date and post count to assert your masculinity around here?

I wasn't expecting a 21-1 run. I knew we would improve from 9-8, but not so suddenly and overwhelmingly.

Yeah we still lost to Dallas, and we will still have the odd blip against good teams. The thing I'm most impressed with is the ability to close out games - that has certainly improved.

We still coast, and lack a bit of consistency within games, but the record has surpassed my expectations after the shaky start.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Lol @ At people saying around the 9-8 start that they wouldn’t be able to mesh because of two ball dominant players (and Bosh) and would struggle heavily because of zone defenses (that didn’t stop these players when they were on their own) would suddenly stop them, and during the early part of the win streak, people kept clinging on to the fact that Heat had a poor record against 500.+ teams, and kept clinging on it after every win until recently where Heat have won 21 of 22 and only loss to a 500 team being Dallas which was a 2pt loss. Now those same people are like “Oh they have the best 2 players, what took them so long?” ”Of course when you have top 2 players and a 20-10 big man of course they’ll do beat they will be #1”. Realgm= Hilarious.

Congrats Miami, you've almost met expectations. Well done and all that.

Wake me when they beat someone good.

Yes Wade’s early season injuries had nothing to do with it.

I have no doubt LeBron and his confidante Z could lead Beşiktaş Cola Turka to the best regular season record in the NBA.

But we all knew he can walk on the water, what still remains to be seen is if he can turn it into wine.

In winO veritas.
