I think the Packers have very overrated recievers. Jennings is solid #1 but we don't have a solid #2 since Driver has shown age this year and is not the same. I don't like Jones or Nelson right now being a #2 guy.

I think TT will draft a KR/PR playmaker that may evolve into a starting WR.

Everyone after Jennings will look better when we get Finley back. Finley was on pace for 84-1200 as a TE. You don't need a ridiculous #2 when you have Jennings and Finley. DD/Jones/Nelson are fine after those two. Maybe we could trade for Calvin Johnson to be our #5 WR.
If there is a WR that falls that TT really likes in any round I say take him, but I don't see it as a pressing need.

Starks becomes chairman of the Packers' backfield committee
After Starks played a key role Sunday by rushing for 123 yards in Green Bay's 21-16 victory over Philadelphia in an NFC wild-card game, it would appear the committee approach has run its course.
Jackson and Kuhn still have a place in certain offensive packages, but McCarthy has found his 20-carry back.
And not a moment too soon, because the Packers (11-6) face the NFC's top-seeded team, the Atlanta Falcons (13-3), at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Georgia Dome.
"Well, he definitely deserves opportunity," McCarthy said at his news conference Monday. "He'll run the ball against Atlanta, if that's what you're asking me. Yeah, he's going to carry the ball in Atlanta. He earned that."

We could probably sign Calvin Johnson for cheap next year. I doubt the Lions want to pay him money and he could maybe slide in as a #3 for us, though I'm not sure he's as good as Jordy Nelson.

Your ability to properly judge/analyze a receivers ability has already been proven to be about as good as my ability to play receiver in the NFL.

I was (am) a pretty big fan of our receiving core. That's because I factor TEs into that. I have high hopes for Quarless and Finley is obviously a beast. Both of those guys are talented enough to play outside.
Jennings I wouldn't really call a solid number 1 so much as he is one of the top 10 WRs in the NFL. Not many wide outs have had as good of a year as him.
Driver is showing age, but he's still a legit no. 2 WR. Not one of the best like he used to be, but he is still good enough at that spot.
Jones and Nelson I like as players, both of them have just had **** years. Jones I think will be let go due to mental errors and Nelson just wasn't as sure handed as I thought he was.
I think WR is a need that this team has, but it certainly isn't a huge need. If we go into next year with:
WR1: Jennings
WR2: Driver
WR3: Nelson
TE1: Finley
TE2: Quarless
I think we have more than enough receiving options for Rodgers. It would be nice to hit on someone in the draft though, seeing as how Driver is getting up there in age.
Also, Calvin Johnson is a stud.

You may think they have had **** years because of some high profile drops, but they have actually had very good years for #3 and #4 WRs.
Jones has had 679 Yards and 5 TDs. Nelson has had 582 Yards and 2 TDs. Those are some pretty good stats for #3 and #4 WRs, especially with another pro bowl WR on the roster. Personally, if they could just work on eliminating the drops and maybe a little better ball security I think they could both be #2 level WRs.

I agree.
I just expect more out of them as players. They don't need to put up much better stats for their spots... But the mental errors (fumbles/drops) are huge... At least to me.
