agreed. i don't have a problem with people creating new threads as long as they are not completely useless. honestly people are way to over sensitive about it, it's like it hurts their feelings or something.

My problem is that when people start creating new threads just because they don't feel like they are getting heard or they "can't be bothered" to read what everyone else had to say on an established thread, just shows how lazy and, frankly, inconsiderate these new posters are. When you start a new thread discussing the same topic, it means posters who have posted on the established topic, will just copy and paste their post to the duplicate thread. It adds nothing to the discussion and it just means other posters have to read everyone else' post again.

It's got nothing to do with being overly sensitive or not liking the aesthetics of a duplicate thread. I don't mind and would encourage new threads if you have a new topic to discuss, but why start your own discussion elsewhere when there's a thriving discussion already established?

So how about the new posters follow the rules and not create a redundant thread just because they can.

This. There's absolutely no point in starting a thread about the exact same topic when an older thread is at like 8 pages and there's actually ton's to discuss still. NO reason to start a new thread, start posting replies instead of creating new god damn threads!

I agree about people complaining, too many people have been backseat modding with that...but I get a license to do it

Luckily threads are starting to slow down so hopefully not as many locks, usually we don't have an issue with too many threads, but if it's exactly copying a discussion in another thread, or just a thread started with absolutely no substance then I can't help ya with those.

One example of a thread where my hands are tied is this.
