They haven't even beaten their biggest challenger in the East.

It only took Magic 2 games to get used to Hedo, JRich, and Arenas. So the question is, what took Miami so long? I knew they were capable of doing this, but I didn't think it will take them 18 games before they found their groove. But so far, they are better than I expected.

Of course it only took 2 games. When you have a superior talent like Hedo anything is possible. Wade and Lebron just had to grind it out like the regular joes they are.

Did you miss where i said Wade was injured? plus J-rich role is clear, Hedo was in Orlando already and knows the system and Gilbert is a backup who obviously isn't the same gilbert from 3 years ago, their not 3 ball dominant STARS..

Well, a big factor has to be that the biggest piece of those additions (Turk) had already played in Orlando in that system and has chemistry with most of those guys.

Their overall record is pretty much in line with what I expected out of them before the season started. How they got to that record is something totally unexpected.

I'm equally amazed by their turnaround as I was with their early season struggles. How many 9-8 teams can go on a 21-1 tear?

I think they'll finish up with close to 65 wins, and an injury to one of the big 3 will likely happen at some point.

Pretty much what I expected before the season started. Miami is damn near unbeatable. Still, will be a lot of fun to watch our guys try.

An injury to one of the quote/unquote BIG THREE is pretty much what everyone is leaning on at this point.

At least from what I can see.

I'm still not sold on the Heat as the top team in the East. After starting 9-8, only 7 of their last 22 opponents have had a winning record. Additionally, the Heat have been relatively lucky with injuries. While Heat fans will point to Miller and Haslem missing games, it's clear those guys aren't nearly as important to their teams and KG and Perkins or Noah and Boozer.

Dont forget to factor in one of the main reasons why they did start 9-8 was an injury to Wade...

And they've been missing their 2 key additions to the big 3 for most of the year...

Calling the Heat lucky in terms of injuries is a joke...

AAU clown offense will get you wins in a regular season, but this clown offense will ultimately fail in the playoffs.

Schematically, what makes it a "clown offense"? Please, break it down and go into detail...

They use a ton of P&R's... is that "clown offense" to you?

Having the two best players in the NBA scoring the basketball for your team does not really constitute as a "clown offense".

In fact I'd argue with a bit more fine tuning and continued improvement James and Wade could turn even the most stifiling D into "Clown Defense"....

PS, putting the word clown in front of things is rad.
