I don't think it's about a bread winner thing or career thing.... Its a man and woman thing. In this day and age more than ever the ladies wear the pants.

Carmelo Anthony made a telling remark after Saturday's practice at the Reebok Club on the Upper West Side when he raised the possibility of the Nets not getting out of the "Lakers-Clippers" rut -- even after the move to Brooklyn in two years.

"We shall see," Anthony said of the Nets' move to Brooklyn. "A lot of people are waiting for that team to move to Brooklyn to see how it's going to turn out -- if it's going to be a Lakers-Clippers situation or what."

Overall I agree with this too. I do not feel she has that great of impact otherwise the Clippers would have at least showed up as a realistic landing spot for Melo. The odd angles from fans a la Lebron Free Agency is what I find comical and moronic. Remember back in the day when C.C. used to be DAT La La...La La :lol:

At least the Clippers have Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon who are both producing AND have upside to look forward to. If they had real ownership that franchise can actually do some things.

Same here. Nobody can keep how they really feel secret this long. You have to read in between the lines and look at what he's said over the past couple of months as a whole. Also have to take a look at the person as he is and not as we wish he would be. The latter is the mistake the whole world made with Lebron.

She's already gone on record saying it would be cool if Melo played in New York but she will support him wherever he goes....she just wants him to be happy. Now if all that equals only New York oky doky but no one knows and she's not one to engineer the negotiations of where he goes.

I think Melo's comment was referring to the fan base and relevance within the market as opposed to the guys that wear the uniforms. Clippers are talented, but who wants to play in a half empty building and be apart of the "other team" in town?
