Sham's numbers are entirely correct. Hamilton clearly and emphatically is listed with a $9 million guarantee, and always has done.

i was watching NBA TV and McHale and Webber feel he' destined to be a net and will make the playoffs and win 38-40 games and Denver will then have a middle of the road first round pick....

exactly what they don't want I recall, right?

most feel the Nets will land Melo.

You have to move the mouse over the name...lol I did figure this out.

But there were links that referenced your site as stating his last year isn't fully guaranteed. So I'm going to take this as you gathering information and updating as you confirmed it to be accurate in due time.

But even then it says until July 1rst, which I take to mean he has a cap hit of $9mil until August 15th the day he supposedly signed the contract to be waived.

So to be clear if he's waived on or before Aug 15th the whole $12.5mil is unguaranteed but if not, he's guaranteed $9mil even if he's waived some time after correct?

lol just like LeBron was destined to go to NY, CHI or CLE. Or how is was a forgone conclusion that Cliff Lee would be a Yankee because it's all about the $$$.

BTW these are same clowns like Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith who think the Knicks are worse than the Nets.

The information has been untouched sine the day it was posted. Not everyone bothers to make the leap of reading the specific details. I can only make it unfailingly accessible up to a point. Rip is guaranteed for $9 million and always has been. The purpose of this guaranteed level isn't immediately obvious, nor especially useful, but there it is anyway.

August 15th is completely irrelevant to everything. I don't know where you're getting that from. The date in question is July 1st, and there's two options here:

1) Whichever team owns Rip waives him on or before that date, and thus pays him $9 million to go away, or

2) Whichever team owns Rip does not waive him on or before that date, and thus pays him $12.5 million to stay.

That's it.
