^Because Melo's not from Colorado like Lebron was from Ohio.

I agree what you guys said with the media and Lebron's ego blowing his figure into an unlikable individual, I understand that Lebron's actions ie the decision, ESPN love make him the enemy but if Lebron is put on this pedestal why can't Melo who is quitting on his team in the REGULAR season. Im trying to get the point across that Melo the basketball player should be criticized and I'm happy the boo birds have begun because his actions of quitting are worse than anything that can be done through the media. A quitter is worse than a egoistical individual like LBJ.
LBJ is a quitter. We all saw it last year in the playoffs dude. Don't kid yourself.

LBJ is a quitter, he quit in the BOS series. And Melo never promised Denver and its fans a championship, and that he wouldn't stop until he got one, unlike LeBron.

A player doesn't have to promise nothing about winning a championship with roster as talented as Melo's has been over the last few years it should have been his obligation to deliver a title.

Hmm, curiously you ignored the part of his post about LeBron blatantly quitting on his team last year in the playoffs. I suppose I wouldn't want to accept the fact that the star player on the team I root for is a quitter either.

The point is you're trying to compare the two situations, when in reality you really can't. Carmelo wasn't born and raised in Denver so he has no emotional ties of that kind with the city. LeBron lied to the people that have surround him his entire life when he told them that he would never leave them and that he would bring them a title. You have a person whom is loyal to the place where he grew up in Carmelo and thats why he wants to go back, and you have a person who refers to himself in third person and spits on puppies.

Just wanted to point out that Cleveland = / = Akron
Akron and Cleveland are rival cities, LeBron never had any emotional ties to Cleveland, he said he always hated Cleveland growing up.
carry on guys.

Denver is pitiful to watch right now.... but both the Nuggets + New Jersey losing is the best of the worlds to Ujiri.

Not really. At this point everyone is well aware of the trade talks. We know the names of all the major players involved in any potential trade. It's futile at this point for Denver to swoop in and tell New Jersey "hush" when they've done just as much if not MORE talking to the media than the other two teams involved in NJ and DET.
Really? How do you know that?
How do I know what, the names of the major players being traded? BECAUSE IT'S ALL OVER THE DAMN INTERNET. LOL. How do I know that Denver has done as much if not more talking than NJ or DET? Because despite Denver telling New Jersey to hush all they've done is talk, talk, talk about "Blake Griffin this and Nicolas Batum that and what can we get for Devin Harris etc...".
Kind of hard to put the cat back in the bag once it's already out.
So basically you don't know what Denver has been saying to the media.

Usually when someone has done something twice and then they go and do something eerily similar a third time, folks who know how to think for themselves will begin to start seeing a pattern and expect a similar outcome. A detective you are not.

Ok show me where Denver has leaked information to the media. Especially in this recent round of negotiations.
"ALL OVER THE DAMN INTERNET" isn't good enough.

I kinda get that you have to stand up for your new BFF, Lebron... But let's get real... The Nuggets has a team so good it is their obligation to deliver a title? Seriously? Are you saying that the Nugget roster at any point during the last 3-4 years have been up to par, or better than, the Lakers? Or heck, even the Spurs?

I don't think there is any reason to suspect the leaks are coming from Denver. The most likely source is Leon Rose and the rest of the CAA group. 9 out of 10 times, it's agents and/or managers that are responsible for media leaks.

I said that the terms of the trade were all over the damn internet. Pay attention please. As far as Denver's stance being public knowledge is concerned, that's likely the work of Rose as I've repeatedly stated and as Blackmun has just reiterated. Rose and his peeps are putting all of this out there in an attempt to stir things up with New York. Generally the more things are kept quiet, the longer things will be drawn out. Rose wants his percentage now before the deadline comes and goes.

If you want to be an ass and tell me to pay attention, here's what you said a few pages back:
"It's futile at this point for Denver to swoop in and tell New Jersey "hush" when they've done just as much if not MORE talking to the media than the other two teams involved in NJ and DET. If they really wanted to keep things under wraps, perhaps they should have looked at themselves and kept everything quiet from the get-go,"
But if you're taking it back that's cool.

Denver has repeatedly come out and spoken to and through the media in the past about their intentions with Anthony. Even when they issued their "gag order" to New Jersey they did so through the media rather than just speaking with the Nets directly and asking them to keep things quiet. They can't even keep a request to keep quiet under wraps. Wake up and pay attention please. Now we're hearing talk about Denver's intentions with Devin Harris (rumors of them looking at Portland in a Harris for Batum swap). I doubt that came from outside the Denver organization and if it did, it probably came from Leon's people. If the Nuggets want to tell someone to be quiet, how about looking at themselves or their franchise player's representation first?
Rose and his people are putting a lot of crap out there, but Denver has done their fair share of talking as well. Like I said, there's so much out there at this point that it's not even worth it for the Nuggets to even pretend like they're trying to be all "hush hush". You can cry about what I have to say all you want, doesn't change the fact that when you take a step back to look at it all it appears that Denver is stalling, unless of course you have a better theory which I doubt judging by the fact that all you seem to be doing is saying "nuh uh" without an opinion of your own.

You're accusing me of doing the same thing you're doing. "Nuh unh." Except you're using a lot more words to do it. And you're trying to change your argument mid-stream.
If Denver is leaking news about the trade, back it up. Otherwise I'm done.
