Broussard obviously filed a report to Sportscenter and somewhere along the line the content of the report got messed up. The first time it was spoken of, developing story, Levy said he had agreed to it. Now Broussard says he hasn't, so clearly that was what the report was supposed to be. Let's all calm down.

I would hate for you to crap your pants, just know that I tell the truth and Spree also did as well. ESPN clearly employs morons who can't report what one of their own has to say. The first developing story made it sound as if, oh, breaking news, he would sign there, period. As if it was some big exclusive Broussard heard from Melo. Then they backtracked but in a weird way, as if they were embarrassed they f'd up the report in the first place. Hilarious stuff.

In the end it's really a big game of chicken between the Nuggets and Melo. He will get traded, whether before the deadline or for an exception, picks, etc like Bosh/Lebron were. If the Nuggets believe he won't walk away from 65M over 3 yrs, they have the edge, slightly. This is all very odd, even if Melo says he won't sign with anyone but us, the Nugs can call his bluff. They can send him anywhere they want, and who knows, maybe he'll go somewhere and sign the extension "just because." I think he's still coming here but I think it comes via a trade where we have to give up a lot. I still do it, provided we can balance out the roster in the meantime.

If this Broussard Report is true i Think the Nets are done.. they have been trying so much.

I dont like the Nets, but i think they wont be able to attract any free agents untill they move to brooklyn.. No one is willing to play in New Jersey for another year.
