Most people are reluctant to add Fields in for Melo, why would we for Iggy then?

Unless you mean swing him over to Denver for Melo? 3 way trade?

Fields is a GREAT defender, who has the potential to be the best SG/SF Defender in the ENTIRE NBA.

In the end, the biggest holdup in a trade that would send Carmelo Anthony to New Jersey may be Anthony himself.

According to several league sources, Anthony has not told anyone, not even his representatives, that he will sign a contract extension with the Nets.

One source who has spoken with Anthony since trade talks between Denver, New Jersey and Detroit became public last weekend said the Nuggets forward has never even hinted at signing with New Jersey.

"He has not agreed to go to New Jersey," said the source, who speaks regularly with Anthony. "I have never heard him, in all the times we've talked, say he's willing to go to New Jersey. Not once. Personally, I would be stunned if he went there and signed an extension."

I expect the Nets to give Denver a week ultimatum. NJ has offered their whole roster already. Nobody can be enjoying themselves over there.

Broussard basically saying what we all know...eventually Nuggs will have no choice but to engage in talks with the Knicks and deal with us.

I think they aren't gonna lose him for nothing and will have no choice. As long as Melo stands his ground, this is what will happen. Let's be patient...and let's also realize for all the idiocy Broussard can spew, he was on the right track towards the end of the Lebron crap, so hopefully this is true too. The Melo stuff is more logical and I think most of us feel it's going to happen, just when, not if.

Broussard is such a clown. Why can't these journalists just for a minute rationalize why it would be stupid for Melo to accept that trade and the ONLY reason why Denver hasn't pulled the trigger is on the account of one, Carmelo Anthony.
