if Melo delivered one title in NY, he'd be immortalized. No one would ever forget him. But with the way our team is structured, we could win several within the next 10 years if we play our cards right.

I have stated time and time again that we do not need Carmelo Anthony to be successful. If we added another very good big man to the lineup (Camby) we would be a top 4 team in the East. All Carmelo does is offer scoring. Is he a better players than Chandler? Yes. But Chandler plays better defense and rebounds the ball better. Melo is also shooting poorly from 3 this season while Wilson is having the best shooting year of his young career.

I don't know if I'd give up Chandler, Gallinari/Landry, Curry, AR, Azubuike for Carmelo Anthony and Al Harrington. How does that really make us a complete team? That just wastes all our assets on one guy and gives us Al's **** self and contract in return.

I would like to get Carmelo too but I would like to get him in the summer as a free agent. I do not want to trade most of our valuable assets to acquire a guy who will not help us in our critical need of low post defense and rebounding.

I am so sick of this Carmelo Anthony saga it is ridiculous.

It would be one of the happiest moments of my sports watching life to see him sign with the Nets.

But I just don't see that happening.
