Give Gortat time. He will need more minutes and will have a better understanding of the game as time goes on. With him, you must be patient. As for Pietrus, he is really good during the playoffs but extremely inconsistent during the regular season, but he does get better as time goes on. VC, well, I really don't know about him, it's going to have to be his mentality because he can play, he just has to want it.

Clark is an all-star talent but lacks the basic mental stuff. His lack of playing time had more to do with how horrible he played than it did depth at his position(especially when you consider his position with the Suns was PF). Suns declined to pick up his option after having spent an entire year with him and having him do really poorly while trying to showcase him in SL.

He may develop into a really good player, but I wouldn't bet on it. Similar to a guy like Anthony Randolph. Will be interesting how much investment the Magic put in him since he'll be a FA.

If there's one thing I've noticed about SVG and it's that he's good at developing young talent.

Super. Gentry was getting a ton of credit for developing players too, but at the NBA level it has more to do with the player.

Like I said we'll see how much the Magic believe in Clark in the offseason since he'll be a UFA.

hunterxaz wrote:Earl Clark has zero potential. He's a bumbling thug kid who thinks he can ball, but he can't. He's more focused with the money and lifestyle of an NBA player than actually performing like one.

He'll never be an All-Star, hell, he won't ever even be a starter.

He sucks at defense, blows coverages all the time, has no offensive game, and a low b-ball IQ. That's EC for ya in a nutshell.

PS: Ginobiliflops, it's "No we shouldn't have" as in "No we shouldn't have done that" -- "No we shouldn't of" makes no sense.

Wow, watching him play just a few games id swear you are talking about a different player. what we see in him is a big with handles, good one on one defense, and a decent shooter. I mean what else can you ask a young player. Give him a year or two and we are predicting Lamar Odomish kinda player.

He's one of the few who really really has huge problems with EC. Like that guy said, EC might have slept with hunterxaz's girlfriend/boyfriend and his/her mother.
