I actually like Gallo a lot, but he crossed the line with me when he decided to tell the media he doesn't want Melo here.

He didn't even really say that--the Daily News is just using the headline to grab readers, which effectively makes him look bad. He was asked if they need anyone else probably--what do you want him to say--yea we suck we need someone. He said we are fine and didn't mention any names.

I was missled by this azz clown and his statement. I should have known Berman was just trying to stir things up.

I'd like to retract my "Trade this b*tch NOW!" statement :D

You guys are doing the same thing people like Pharmcat were doing when STAT supposedly said he didn't want Melo because the team was fine.

Note: When in doubt, never act like Pharmcat.

I'm curious to see what ends up being the trade if Melo gets traded here. Denver doesn't like Gallo. Walsh doesn't want to give up Fields or Chandler. It's going to have to be a 3 way trade or Denver is going to have to be content with taking Randolph (1st rounder), a future 1st rounder, and a bunch of salary relief.

Gallo absolute loves NY from what ive read, like seriously loves it.

I can see him crying when he is traded to Denver.

To clarify my position, I want Gallo, Fields, Chandler and Mozgov to stay with Amar'e and Felton but, realistically, that's not going to happen. Since Gallo is the one that has been rumored offer for Paul and Melo, I assume any deal will include him so that's why I said, Gallo won't have to worry about playing with Melo.

That is all.

i agree, gallo is who's most likely going in a trade and i think he knows it too.

I don't think Gallinari is getting traded unless they find a third team.

I know numerous trade scenarios have been thrown out there, but would you guys consider this too much?

Chandler Wilson, Shawne Williams, Eddy Curry + 2 first round picks (2011 pick acquired by trading ARandolf and 2014 pick) and a 2011 2nd round pick.

#1, the only way Denver accepts this is if Melo tells them it's NY or nothing. Second, I would make it a priority to keep Landry Fields. In order to realistically compete against Miami, we need a better bench. FWIW, I included WC in the trade instead of Gallo b/c I think Denver would be more willing to bite the bullet if it's Chandler.

This would give us this line-up the rest of the season

C: Ronnie Turiaf, Timofey Mozgov (find some minutes for him!)
PF: A'mare Stoudamire
SF: Carmelo Anthony, Landry Fields
SG: Danillio Gallanari, Bill Walker
PG: Raymond Felton, Toney Douglas

Then in the offseason we can draft a back-up PG with our first rounder (move Douglas to SG ala Barbosa) and use the MLE for a center.

I can accept this deal. We may be overpaying with 2 first rounders but it doesn't bother me enough to stop the deal if I am keeping Gallo and Fields.

I think Walsh would rather trade Chandler than Gallo for financial reasons. I thought about this one..

We send Randolph to Minny for Telfair and Memphis' 1st rd pick, then..

Ship Curry+Azuibuke's expirings to Denver, and Chandler to Portland

Portland Ships Batum and fillers to Denver along with a 1st rd pick

So Denver gets their guy Batum, two 2011 1st round picks, and 15+ mil in expirings for Melo

We'd have...

Felton/Telfair
Fields/Douglas/Mason
Melo/Walker
Stoudemire/Gallo/Williams
Turiaf/Moz

...i'm bored at work

on another note... anyone see the commercial with gallo jon barry and boozer on ESPN?

"we like hot sauce in italy too"

pretty funny... would rather not see this guy go as he has a lot of pride for himself and knicks organization but you cant really nitpick when a bonafide star is in the conversation...

If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

i think it will be a trade involving another team.. Donnie doesnt strike me as the type to try to low ball denver too much, even with the way theyve behaved.. plus he doesnt want to give up will & fields so i think something will be worked out with more than one squad so the sting wont be as bad on all sides.. or at least i hope

and i just cant see donnie trading chandler after he publicly came out saying he was going to re-sign him.. hes a class act, i just cant see it..
